Very quite. Needed a place to see tennis matches so even though it’s small it had everything we needed and seemed larger than it was because it was so nicely decorated.

A/C control a bit confusing? Takes a lot of water to get warm.

    Location. Good value. Quiet.

The place itself is fine, but I've never had such a bad experience with communication from hosts

I don't think I've ever had such a bad experience getting into a property before. In the host's defense, she did ask me the day before to text her so that she could set the access code/notify the front gate, but I have never had the experience of needing to do this before the host sets anything up. Usually with b&bs they just tell you the instructions especially when I had already confirmed what time we were going to arrive. Therefore, I had only messaged her when I was on the way there (15 minutes away), and even if she hadn't done it yet it would have been ok if she had responded and let me know that she was doing it then. It basically took an hour of us driving around, trying to find the right gate to enter because we had been given 0 instructions on how to get there, finally finding the front and realizing that she hadn't told security. I called her 5 times with an hour and texted and had no response. It was to the point where I was wondering if we had been scammed. Luckily I saw there were two numbers listed in the booking and someone (her sister) picked up and gave us the access code and talked to the security gate through my phone (not ideal, but at least it happened on the spot), and we finally got in. The original person I was communicating with finally wrote back once we had arrived very nonchalantly without seeming pressed that I had called her 5 times in a panic to get in, and apologized but was glad that I got in touch with her sister. Besides the horrible check-in process, I also found a vape in the bed when I got in, and it made me wonder if the bed had even been ccleaned from the previous guest, because if the linens had been washed then you should find an item like a vape in the sheets. To top it off, we received a parking violation (was just a warning) for parking overnight because we had not been given instructions to park on the driveway or that we weren't allowed to park overnight. Honestly shocked.

The casita itself is nice. It's through the gate with the main house but it really is a stand-alone house with a nice bed and bathroom, quiet and cute.

me and my sister stayed for coachella festival & it was absolutely perfect. from the front of the complex it’s only a 5 minute walk to the festival - literally the closest you can get. and the owner was super friendly & accommodating and dropped us to the front each day. very clean, cute place to stay. we loved it!
