When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I was a little uncomfortable in the parking lot as I had seen some locals wandering around in the early evening. Being a woman alone, and returning late at night I was a bit uncomfortable; however the parking lot was lit and there were no issues. It was just my comfort level
What's most important to me is cleanliness. There were no orders, the bed was comfortable and clean at a reasonable cost.

An odor in the hallway, perhaps smoke from a cigarette. The deadbolt to our room was broken. There was water damage that buckled a portion of laminate flooring by the desk chair. The TV worked, but was difficult to find and select programming on it.
It is an older property but is well maintained for the most part. Our room was clean with a comfortable bed. Temperature was easy to maintain, and the unit was quiet. Enjoyed a good hot breakfast each day. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The only thing was that 1 of the 2 rooms that we had booked for our stay had a missing door latch and had us not feeling the safest but other than that services were adequate. Would book with them again.
Liked how the cleaning staff kept checking in and being really friendly. Front desk staff did good in helping us with our questions and further booking we had to add to our stay.

Our first room had a few defects. The door latch was missing. So no overnight door stop. The currents are a bit outdated. They only open one way.
Besides the value and free parking, I really enjoyed the staff. Super kind and helpful. Checked us in quickly and professionally.

The same breakfast every morning needs to change it up sometimes, but other than that, everything was good. Need more lights in the room.
The location was great nice quite area. The staff was very nice and friendly, especially Mr. Henry. The room was clean and comfortable.

Beds were a little firmer than I can usually sleep comfortably on. Even though we were in a non smoking room, could smell smoke and weed in the hallway
Quick and easy check in and check out. Hot breakfast was a nice amenity.

I specified a room with a bathtub but the stopper in our tub did not work, so we basically had a shower. The sink faucet was misaligned/crooked, which made it a little difficult to use. The water pressure at that sink for both the hot and cold was very poor. The hot breakfast was good but the eggs were very poor. They looked somewhat like eggs but had little taste and were a poor substitute to the real thing.
It provided the basic necessities for our trip to Elgin, Illinois with lodging and a hot breakfast.

It's an older hotel and could use some upgrades.
The breakfast is pretty good. Hot food provided. The breakfast worker keeps up with the demand. She is a very hard worker.

More variety at breakfast. Could use better quality hot food. And a natural more healthy artificial sweetener would be awesome, with healthier creamer for coffee.
