1. The desk clerk couldn’t even stand up when she checked me in. 2. The mattress appeared to be new but it was of poor quality. We stayed two nights, by the time we left to return home, my spouse’s back was hurting. 3. We did not realize how filthy the floor was until we wiped up some water the spilled onto the floor. It appeared the floor had not been cleaned in a very long time.

My room was in a dark corner that got no sun light and the smell of cigarette smoke filled that corner which began to enter into the room.

The property was very close to the navy base which was the main reason I was here.

The shower did not drain well. The breakfast is nothing more than frosted flakes, yogurt and waffles. And, I received no daily room service for fresh towels, fresh sheets, etc. Finally, when I booked, there was no mention of additional fees and taxes at check-in ... those additional costs make the price of the room considerably less of a deal.

The motel is conveniently located between NIT (Norfolk International Terminal) and NOB (Norfolk Naval Station). The beds are comfortable and the rooms are a decent size. Parking is ample. The staff was pleasant and check-in was quick.

Room was old and damp. Musty smell, had to go buy room deodorizers. Pillows were non-existent (see photo). Covers were old and worn. Furniture was old and worn. Paint and ceiling peeling. It was not as advertised.

Staff & the smell in the room was awful. I sprayed my entire can of Lysol. The tub & toilet could have been cleaned again.

The location was great. Near a lot of places like service stations, Starbucks, Mall and Dollar Tree.

There were dark spots in the tub and the vent make a bad squealing sound. The light also flickered. The bed was really firm which might upset people. The pillows, though, by far some of the worst. Very small and very very plush. i had to use 3 just to support my head. There was a slit on the arm of the couch. Place needs some touch up work for sure.

Easy checkin and very close to Naval yards. Also close to a few decent restaurants. Room AC worked great. Shower pressure was great. Tv worked.

The floor could have been mopped. Breakfast consisting of nothing more than honey buns. A TV that wasn't hooked up.

Could hear the people in the next room talking , they were banging on the door after midnight and being very loud . mold in the bathtub, the door to the room isn’t sealed , you can see sunlight through the door with it being shut . the free breakfast they offer is cereal .This place isn’t worth the money they charge . The toilet isn’t even secured to the floor.

Most of the people working there were very helpful and tried to help us with the problems we encountered.

Breakfast was very minimal. Our first room had NO cold water at all. Our SECOND room, the TV would not turn on.

The manager was very intrusive and seemed deeply interested in my private life in regards to my sexuality and sexual preferences. Highly uncalled for and made me feel very uncomfortable. Due to this, the leakage in the ceiling, and being unable to formally check out in the morning — I will not be staying here again.

Even though I got a smoke-free room, it had this disgusting smell as if someone had smoked in there not too long ago. There were a couple flies around the room and it looked poorly cared for - the chair in my room looked like it wasn’t cleaned for a while.

The bed was pretty low to the floor.

We slept very good. Eventhough the bed was low. It was very comfortable. The area was quiet. The room was very clean. Water in the shower was good and hot. Overall was a good stay and close to resturants and gas station. Only 15 min to downtown Norfolk.

Poor room service and no attention to detail from this staff level. Manager did compensate for errors. That was greatly appreciated.

Location was great. Breakfast items very accommodating for the COVID situation. Manager very understanding when problems were presented on rooms and services.
