While we wish we could control everything around us, the hotel unfortunately can’t manage traffic noise from the surrounding area. That said, we’ve installed noise-reducing windows to help minimize the impact and make your stay more comfortable. As you may have seen on Google Earth, our property is located right along U.S. Route 1—a historic highway that stretches from Key West, Florida, all the way to Fort Kent, Maine. Though it’s no longer used as a long-distance route, it remains a major corridor for local traffic and access to Washington, D.C., which can make it quite busy at times. We appreciate your convern and understanding be assured we are always looking for ways to enhance the guest experience, both inside and outside the hotel.

Just to share a bit more about what we offer each morning: guests can enjoy three flavors of Danish, muffins, bagels, wheat bread, fresh oatmeal, eggs, waffles, sausage, potatoes, yogurt, two types of juice, milk, and a variety of hot beverages including espresso, latte, cappuccino, hot chocolate and herbal teas. We don’t think we’re doing too bad for a free breakfast—but we’re always looking for ways to improve, and your feedback helps us do just that.
