The layout of the property and placement of rooms. In order to get to my room I had to walk down a hallway of empty offices. Also on night 2 there was a baby roach in the bathroom.

The building was old and worn. The 2nd floor elevator didn’t work. My back and knees are bad. I had to climb up and down the stairs because the elevator didn’t work not work

The pillows were were not the standard size; much smaller. When I mentioned it to the desk clerk upon checking out she said they may have shrunk when they were washed...lol! And no complimentary breakfast; every competitor offers a free breakfast!

The 3rd floor must of had families that actually live here on a monthly basis. Laundry in the hallways looked really bad. Way too many kids yelling after 10:00.

The shower never got hot and the pressure was extremely low. We stayed two nights and had warm water that was not to our likings. When we called the front desk they told us to run the water from the bathroom sink for 10 minutes then turn the shower on. It still never got hot! The pillows were very small like the size of couch pillows. The ice machine was not working, staff told us the ice machine that’s working is on the 15th floor, we were on the 11th floor.

The guide on my TV didn't work. No way of telling what was on TV. Blanket on bed was stained. Loud hotel guests making a racket at night Music in bar Friday night was ridiculously loud. Hot tub was not filled or operational although it looked brand new

2 of my our pillows had dirty pillow cases. the bathroom was tiny and cramped, needed clean shower door seal. The toliet paper was 1 ply and not soft.

The check in and out was easy. had a restaurant on premise. It was easy to find and located near a Tim Hortons. Parking was included and felt my car was safe.

I got a second room for my friend. The cover to the furnace was off and it smelled like dog. We had to pick another room and the tub had a kind of chips in the tub like the tub needed replaced. Got a 3rd room and it was the same problem with the tub. Finally the 4th room was descent and they gave us money off only because we asked and a free breakfast which was nice. I’ll never stay here again going to check out other hotels in the area. Restaurants & bar was nice however the food was undercooked. We had to send our food back. Overall the area was nice. Breakfast was alright but the server had a problem with me trying to see what the food looked like. He kept asking for my ticket. You have to pay $10/person for breakfast. Room had a kool aid stain on the floor. Dressers was nicked up and chair. Room was little. According to the pics online I thought it would be much bigger

It's an older structure in Southfield and was at one time one of the leading hotels in Southfield however you can see the deterioration and neglect of the building not to mention the transient crowd that stays there.
