I was humming that Ramblin Rose song during check-in. The check-in guy did not know the song, so I tried to sing a few lyrics. At any rate, he did not sing along and simply gave me the key (a real metal key, not a mag-key).

Same as everyone, trains going by at 3am. Probably won’t wake you up, but doesn’t help getting to sleep either. Fair enough trade though I guess; they’re enjoyable to watch at 6pm.

Non-corporate feel. Clean and comfortable. Relatively nice view in a less chaotic part of town. The shower alone was worth the stop; large clean stall water was not too hard or soft, just right. Calico’s diner nearby.

The latch for the bathroom window was broken and the window would not open. There was a used bar of soap in the shower and a fine, sandy grit on the shower floor. It rinsed away easily and the shower appeared to be clean.

This is an older two story property, located on route 66, with ample parking. The rooms have exterior doors. It was quiet, even with trains passing nearby. My room was on the second floor and had a king bed with three pillows, a blanket and a spread. It was comfortable and I slept well. The room also had a table with two chairs, a desk area with another chair, a mini-fridge, a microwave and a coffeemaker. There was a large closet and lots of electrical outlets. The a/c worked well and the Wi-Fi was adequate. The sink was located in the bathroom and there was very little counter space. The shower was a walk-in and there was no tub.

Minor but was somehow marked as not showing up for check in, so got a load of emails from booking.com as if we were no shows (but had pre-paid, so no issue there)

the room was perfectly arranged with proper size furniture. it was cozy and felt like being at home. I requested a lower lever room because of knee issues and they issued me their best room available.

A little noisy from neighbors. Train goes through a lot, but at least doesn’t blow horn when passing.

Motel was close to a great restaurant, the Dambar, and to lots of other amenities. Rooms were clean and comfy. Easy to get in and out. Overall a really good motel. especially for the price.

Nothing wrong.

Still keeps good atmosphere of a motel back to 70s. If you are a railway fan you would enjoy seeing long freight trains passing by with big sounds.

Looks like they are slowly renovating the old hotel. So, not all aspects of the room were fully updated.

Wear earplugs to sleep. The often-used railway line is only a couple of hundred metres away.

A conveniently located motel, well-lit parking, close to several good restaurants and Kingman's original downtown. A very comfortable bed, in a good-sized room, with a clean bathroom (water pressure restricted, but it is the desert), at a fair price. The mid-century feel added to its charm. I got the feeling some attention has been paid to updating and keeping the place tidy. The man at reception was friendly and efficient. I usually stay around the corner at another place but didn't, and would stay here again.

Stayed here after a vehicle breakdown in Kingman. Just needed the night - but the beds were really comfortable, the staff was nice, and the rooms were clean! I’d recommend it even for a longer stay. Far exceeded my expectations four the last minute price we paid. Showers were hot and water pressure was great!

The guy at the front desk was super nice. He insured that our vehicle and auto transport was parked in a well lit area. Our room was ready and the key waiting. He couldn't have been nicer.

Close to the RR tracks-i wear earplugs so I didn’t hear them, though they seem to be active all night. Heater is loud. Decor is dated, though it’s clean.
