Neat and clean comfortable bed Close to town

Terrible experience. We found two large cockroaches in the room during the night, including one that was enormous, which made it impossible to sleep and completely ruined our night. The hygiene conditions were unacceptable and do not reflect what is expected from a property listed on Booking. I have already contacted Booking.com customer service to request a refund, and I have also reached out to the property through the Booking app for the same reason.

Late check inn, classic Route 66 motel, nice staff.

A run-down, a lot of noise from train and traffic.

cheap price. Nice personnel whom helped when we had a smoke smell. We wanted to prevent being fined for tue smell

Smelled like there had been smoked for years and years. Airconditioning can be loud.

I was humming that Ramblin Rose song during check-in. The check-in guy did not know the song, so I tried to sing a few lyrics. At any rate, he did not sing along and simply gave me the key (a real metal key, not a mag-key).

Non-corporate feel. Clean and comfortable. Relatively nice view in a less chaotic part of town. The shower alone was worth the stop; large clean stall water was not too hard or soft, just right. Calico’s diner nearby.

Same as everyone, trains going by at 3am. Probably won’t wake you up, but doesn’t help getting to sleep either. Fair enough trade though I guess; they’re enjoyable to watch at 6pm.

This is an older two story property, located on route 66, with ample parking. The rooms have exterior doors. It was quiet, even with trains passing nearby. My room was on the second floor and had a king bed with three pillows, a blanket and a spread. It was comfortable and I slept well. The room also had a table with two chairs, a desk area with another chair, a mini-fridge, a microwave and a coffeemaker. There was a large closet and lots of electrical outlets. The a/c worked well and the Wi-Fi was adequate. The sink was located in the bathroom and there was very little counter space. The shower was a walk-in and there was no tub.

The latch for the bathroom window was broken and the window would not open. There was a used bar of soap in the shower and a fine, sandy grit on the shower floor. It rinsed away easily and the shower appeared to be clean.

It is too noisy. I couldn’t sleep.

On arrival (9:00 p.m.) we found that the room was not air conditioned at all during the day. During the day it was around 104°F It took over an hour to cool the room to normal temperature. The air conditioner made a terrible mess every time it was turned on and it was impossible to sleep at all.
