Bar/restaurant staff was slow and otherwise occupied talking with each other than being very attentive to patrons.

Beautiful hotel, very clean. Friendly front desk staff. Great location for walking to both Target Field and US Bank stadium

Pillows was too soft almost flat... no ice on 15th floor had to go to other floor. Went to other floor and no ice came out, left a message for housekeeping and ask for a couple extra towels didnt get any extra.

    Location, room was really nice.

Great location, Very accommodating staff and beautiful building. The only reason I don’t give them a 10/10 was the hotel bar left much to be desired. But plenty of options to drink around town.

The room was too hot at night, airco did not go below 69/70, whatever I tried. Mixup at the front desk. We were charged for breakfast, and had to prove we already paid for it. No coffee/tea bags provided in the room. Garage is extremely narrow

The facilities, the ambiance, breakfast, the location, staff was friendly, good value for money

Booking made it seem as if there were big soaking tubs that you could request for. I was informed by the staff that these were only for ADA. We did end up with a room with a tub, but the drain wouldn’t close, and it was super low to the ground, not a real soaking tub at all. Sadly, we couldn’t figure it out, so I wasn’t able to take a soak while we were there.

It was a very cool hotel, funky art deco decor, good food.

Expensive Valet Parking isn't the only option. Self park a block away for $8/night after 4pm though staff seems unaware of this.

I didn’t like how we had to take 2 separate elevators to get to the top floor and I was not a huge fan of the room layout if I’m being picky but it was still very nice

Location was really nice right downtown with lots to do, building was very nice and well kept, staff was friendly plenty to explore in and out of the building. Room was great very clean, nice veiw, bathroom was also exceptional.

The restaurants had very odd and confusing hours, the coffee bar in the lobby was closed by 9am on Sunday morning. There was never anyone at the (very heavy and weirdly narrow) doors to help with bags. Had a hard time getting the room to a comfortable temperature- it was very cold outside and the room was very hot. Also the heater was extremely loud.

Beautifully designed hotel, large room, staff were very friendly and helpful, super comfy bed, great location walkable to lots of restaurants. Unfortunately, downtown isn't very lively on the weekends. Excellent vlaue.

While our stay at the Rand Tower Hotel was fantastic, the biggest drawback of staying downtown was, without a doubt, parking. Driving in was convenient for us, but finding an affordable or even remotely reasonable parking option in Minneapolis? Nearly impossible. The rates are steep, and the options limited unless you rely on the light rail, Uber, or Lyft. To be clear, this isn’t a knock on the Rand Tower Hotel itself, as they don’t operate the ramp, but it’s something to consider if you’re bringing a vehicle.

From the moment we stepped into the Rand Tower Hotel, we knew we were in for something special. The Art Deco design is absolutely immaculate, blending the elegance of the 1920s with modern luxury. Every detail, from the stunning decor to the historic mail drop slots throughout the building, adds to its charm. The service? Top-notch—attentive, professional, and welcoming. The rooms, while cozy, are thoughtfully designed to feel spacious and comfortable. The beds? Ridiculously comfortable. The views? Stunning. Every aspect of our stay felt like stepping into a beautifully preserved time capsule, but with all the modern amenities you could ask for. Rand Tower Hotel is a perfect blend of classic and contemporary, making it an unforgettable place to stay. We absolutely loved it and can't wait to return!
