No breakfast because it was 'off-season.' That wasn't really a big deal though.

It was quiet and not busy. The location turned out to be very convenient for the places I went.

It is a little tired looking in places BUT they are renovating and it was beautifully clean and comfortable.

It was in a good position for both manitou springs and surrounding areas. Food outlets and shops nearby . And the lovely owner gave us coffee and pastries in the morning even though it said no breakfast included. Also the water was lovely and hot for showers.

The heater worked excellently but was so loud we couldn’t hear each other, the tv, or sleep very well.

So friendly, cute, had laundry facilities, and was within walking distance to excellent Mexican food.

The only issue we had was the heater location, one bed area was warm while the bath and second bed area were much cooler, but we used blankets and the sun from the large windows warmed the room in the morning…

The owners were delightful and accommodating…we liked the retro feel and flowers…

The owners were very friendly. It was very clean. Pillows were nice and fluffy. I did visit during the winter time, so the heater kept kicking on which dried up my nose a little.

The walls between the rooms were a little thin. I could hear a woman coughing at night, but it didn't really bother me.

Nice motel located at the entrance to Manitou Springs. The room had everything I needed - king size bed, fridge, microwave, and TV. I loved the old, historic ambience of this lodging and the price was very reasonable.

When we first walked in, it smelled strongly of cleaning chemicals but other than that, everything was clean and functional.

We loved how close it was to Garden of the Gods! Manitou Springs and Old Colorado City were just a drive away.

Breakfast was pretty skimpy & the property can use some updating, especially the bathroom. The towels were horrible.

Says it's pet friendly, but it's not! Dogs are not allowed on the grass! We were yelled at, by the owners and told that dogs had to walk in another area that was just dirt and high weeds. The nice grassy lawn in front is off limits.

bed was quite hard, and pillows were flat and uncomfortable, carpet was pretty filthy, which made me not want to walk barefoot.

location is excellent, loved the old deep porclain tub, sheets were crisp and looked/felt new, mgmt was very friendly and accomodating! Free wi-fi.

The only thing that I did not like was that the walls were very thin, so we could hear not only the neighbor's kids, but also their tv. Additionally, the beds were pretty old and not the most comfy, but again, for the low price I can't complain.

The owner is incredibly kind and helpful, the rooms were clean and well-appointed. The Lodge is very well located, and the price is incredibly good for the location/service/etc. It says to keep typing but I have no additional feedback? Sorry.

The front desk man was very friendly. I suspect he owns it. I felt like it was a little too much money for what it was. The places old it is clean, but not as it was profiled on the website.

We did not eat breakfast. There we went out every day. I was surprised at the hotel was much older than I suspected from the website.

Breakfast was basic: coffee and danish, but it was enough to set us up for our journey.

We booked here based on the reviews and it was exactly what we wanted and expected. On first sight the furnishings looked old fashioned, but they were clean and comfortable. The staff member we spoke to was very helpful. It was very conveniently based for Pike's Peak. We enjoyed our stay here
