Bunk bed guard rails should be higher and Tv was located up too high high for all to see. Should be located on wall. Not enough shampoo and conditioner for 4 people for shower.

AC worked ok. People are very nice. Very different place.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the property. One thing to make it easier, as a parent of a 5 year old, having a detachable sprayer in the stand up shower would have been a plus but we loved this place!

We loved everything about this property. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The uniqueness of each Train Caboose. They were very clean and roomy. The staff were great and always friendly. We ate at the restaurant and food was amazing as well. We will definitely be coming back again.

The way people block the driveway. It’s very unsafe if you are walking around.

Photos on website do not do it justice, it’s a beautiful location. We stayed in the farmhouse which was so lovely, lots of space, very well maintained, beds were very comfortable. We had a lovely meal in the barn with a live jazz band playing, sat and listened with a drink watching the sun set. Perfect evening.

We last stayed here more than 5 years ago and the spaces have undergone vast renovations making the interiors feel modern and comfortable while the exteriors have the charm of the rail car.

Farm smells were just too much.

Amazing how the train was converted into rooms. We had double caboose. Restaurant was convenient and very good food. Staff were very helpful. Convenient location.

There was nothing we didn’t like!

Very friendly staff and beautiful location. We loved how large the property was to walk around on which included a lot of fun things to do (little arcade, souvenir shop, restaurant, animals to feed, next to strasburg railroad and toy train museum). We stayed in the mail car and it was very clean and spacious.. it felt like a little apartment!

The restaurant staff ran out of crayons. Not a deal breaker but they didn’t offer any paper when I said I was going to purchase something. The front desk did photocopy something for my kids to draw on while we waited though, I was just avoiding using screen time :) Again, not a huge deal, just be prepared with something if your kids get stir crazy while waiting.

I’d loved the staff! The caboose is more for the experience. If you’re looking for a large luxurious place to stay, then go somewhere else. It’s a simple caboose modified to let your kids say “we slept in a caboose.” The grounds are beautiful! The staff at the front office were kind and very helpful.

The only complaint.. eating at the restaurant we had to wait 1.5 hours to eat breakfast… since they were short staffed… but food was great… and hopefully that’s not the norm… there were only 8-10 groups eating at 9:30 am and we didn’t eat til 10:50 am. They apologized… and we ate and checked out.

The property was soooo cute and we loved our car we slept in. It was clean and comfortable!!! Perfect!!

They got rid of the larger playground for kids. It was something fun to take the kids to do as a family as hangout and play. Would be very nice if you would bring back a larger playground for kids.
