Reviews of Hells Canyon Grand Hotel, an Ascend Collection Hotel 3 stars

This motel is ought to earn the four-star rating. Modern facilities. I initially thought I was at wrong hotel, because it looks too good.

Nothing. There is no room for improvement.

Breakfast was amazing, friendly server. Front desk staff seemed distracted, did not greet guest as they entered.

The room 401 was humid and had condensation on the interior window, air conditioner was loud and needed to be on continuously due to dampness.

Big hotel with lots of parking and restaurant.

Offers a free breakfast but if you are on an early flight then they are unable to offer even a bowl of cereal.

The pool, comfy beds and staff

The rooms were spacious and clean.

Seems most things were broken. TV, ice machine, cash machine. Took me 45min to check in. Computer issues and more. The windows all had broken seals so it obstructed view we could have had. Mismatched bedding, bugs in the bathroom, dog nose and toung prints on the mirror, pool towels were so ratty you could see thru them. I could go on...

Property was awesome. The pool, the walking path the area for the dogs. The stonework and the little creek they had was awesome. The food in the restaurant was good.

The Food in the Bar was Great, the Staff was very nice and Welcoming, the Complimentary Breakfast was Good.

The bed was nit comfortable, the furnishers really needed a good cleaning the Windows really need to be replaced and the we really dirty, there was something splashed on the sheer curtains? It look like blood? We were kept awake by the stalk person wheeling a cart back and forth until 2:30!

I liked the location

Our windows, room, hotel was super aged. Our window was falling apart. Very dated bathroom, windows, bathroom... Loud traffic sound, couldn't really see any views we paid for. Bathroom tub was stained, TV was smeared and perhaps not in great condition. A/c is loud.

Rooms well updated. Breakfast above average for a place like this.

Price was a bit high for what you get, but it makes sense based on the rafting season.

Really convenient for our travels.

I needed a fitness center that night, but settled for a walk. No biggie.

Easy access comfortable quiet & clean room

Staff not very welcoming; restaurant located at hotel was busy; didn’t have time to accommodate a take out meal to our room

Still having problems with disputed charges , management not on property to discuss , never got back with me with resolution

The facilities are all excellent, from the room, the restaurants and the pool. The bedroom was amazingly large and comfortable. The restaurant food was very good.

Awesome facility. Updated & modern. Fantastic breakfast buffet and beautiful restaurant. Great staff.

Location, food was good, love restaurant on side. Bar food was also great with good prices

The room was spacious.

The bed was very hard & the shower was small considering the size of the bathroom. The pool was dirty and the handicap lift didn’t work.

Beautiful hotel

Hidden fees. They asked for my credit card and said it's standard to just have it on file for incidental. I didn't use anything and saw a charge for 6.11. When asked about it they said it a standard charge for everyone they just add on fir use of wifi in the hotel. I didnt use wifi.I was not told about this additional charge.

Had restaurant on site so food was easy to get with open bar as well. Plenty of parking space outside and close to major roads.

Breakfast included BUT they want to charge extra for JUICE. Found that a bit insulting to be honest. Who serves breakfast without juice? Would have rate higher is not for this.

The staff and the amenities were outstanding.
