To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaA/C in room was loud and didn't cool well (they appear to be in the process of replacing A/C units though so this will be fixed. Security latch on door was loose and missing screw was replaced using a screw from the toilet paper holder.
Location was good for my needs. Looks like they are in the process of upgrading some room facilities.

it is nice. it was close to a lot of things. we came in for a concert and we were a few miles from the venue.

Austin in general is overpriced. Im in mexico beaches for less with breathe taking views and location for less. And the hotels are amazing here. Its a better hotel than the lower end but its austin.

United States of AmericaThe one thing I did not like, was the shower. They need to be recaulked. water sipping through the walls can create mold. by doing preventing maintenace, you will avoid paying more when mold is present.
The front desk Lady, "Angie" was really nice and friendly. she suggested some great places to visit and eat.

United States of Americawe were on the road side and it was very noisy. The fan made weird noises so wasn't a constant white noise to block the sound. Better windows would block some of the freeway noise.
The lady working the front desk was amazing, very friendly and helpful and calm as she had a big line of people to check in due to the motor bike races, she stayed calm and helpful.

United States of Americathe floor was dirty. food scraps and dirt along baseboards. cleaning schedule was to clean room every three days. room was not truly clean until day three of our stay. the sink stopper was broken. they fixed it on day two. coffee was only out for the morning. anything needed had to be picked up by guest at the desk.

United States of AmericaThe handicapped room I was in was great. I just wished the spot light that was outside my window didn't shine right into my room. Also if the room was more soundproof. I heard everything especially the highway noise, all night long.
That the gentleman at the desk was bilingual and assisted the customers in front of us with no problem. Also appreciated that I was placed on the 1st floor which is what I requested bc of my mobility challenges.

Room was quiet and comfortable. Floors were clean and the AC wasn't too loud.
