Not properly cleaned. Towels are very old. The room smells of cigarette smoke. AC is so loud and right against the bed.

I knew what to expect when I booked, just a quick overnight stay on a drive south. That said, as far as Motel 6's go, this was above average. Pool was functional, AC cold, microwave and fridge in the room, water temp and pressure fine, bed comfortable, room clean, and lots of things nearby. Decent neighborhood and friendly/attentive staff also. For the money, hard to find a better value.

Too many homeless people in area. Lot of panhandling. But I felt safe. Just annoyed when went off property.

bed/mattresses were old and sagging. Door was not well fitted, with light shining through all around the jam. Reserved non smoking room had to pay additional charge when we arrived because they only had double full non smoking available

The bed was very uncomfortable and there was a crack in the bottom of the door where it looked like someone tried to kick it in and the bathroom didn't have soap, or shampoo, or conditioner or a trash can in the bathroom! I didn't feel like I was totally safe there with the door being cracked at the bottom where I could see lights and smell people smoking outside by my door!

The price was reasonable.

The bed smelled disgusting like a homeless person was living there before. The towels were all nicely rolled up, but also smelled. They didn't have an iron, but did have an ironing board. Go figure. The door doesn't close too well so the freeway is heard very clearly.

The bathroom was nice and clean. The staff was very nice and need a damn raise just because they're courteous and fast.

The door plate was loose and kinda sketchy, but functional. No in room coffee maker, though they did have some in the office. Some guy kept going out to smoke or vape right outside our door all night and kept waking up my dog.

The towels and sheets were all especially soft, better than any other motel 6 I've been to and the mattress was pretty comfortable. The in room fridge is always nice to have. Dog area with poop bags and trash.

The Night Manager seemed to be upset. Travelers like me often want to stop somewhere and have a good night's sleep without the drama of the night worker being rude. I was tired and could not find the room, he did not like that.

I was supposed to be called when room was ready since it was 100 * out and I had my dog in the car. After 3 p.m. I finally went to the office to find out my room had been ready for awhile. They were supposed to have called me. Instead we baked on the parkinglot asphalt.

This motel is very outdated and worn down. The towels were paper thin, dirty and had several holes. Also the floor was SO dirty, my feet got black just from touching them. We had to change rooms due to the toilet stopping when flushing, so it wouldn’t flush and water got all over the floor. The staff was so nice and gave us another room quickly. They mentioned it was a common problem at the motel.

The man at the reception was very friendly and greeting!

The feeling that motel 6 in this location has gone down hill.

Staff is always friendly, rates are why we stay here. Pool absolutely needs cleaning. We love the closeness to restaurant.

My only 2 issues where, the bed I slept in (there are 2 beds) was extremely uncomfortable. My husband said his was very comfortable. And, unfortunately, nothing the hotel can really manage, was the 2 women in the adjoining room where talking and giggling until way after 2:30AM. Plus people walking past our room (2nd floor) or even on the 1st floor, being loud, late into the night. Sadly, some people have no concept or respect.

Because of the heat wave the room was hot. Afternoon sun had been on the exterior wall and window for hours. I know this is an old property. The old wall unit AC was not up to the task. Once the sun had set the room began to cool and eventually was comfortable enough for some good sleep. On the next night we are staying in another Motel 6 property which is identical and probably built the same year. (I’m a retired building contractor and inspector) These 2 properties need a complete going over but new construction may be a better option if the Motel 6 corporation is looking to the future. We shared the property with some disadvantaged folks living there by the week and I know a low-priced hotel may be their only option for housing. I feel for them. I don’t think my wife will want to stay with you again but she’s not very resilient to such inconveniences. The staff at the front desk were friendly and kind. I’m certain the house keeping employees do the best they can with what they have. Worn surfaces, a big gap and worn weather seal on the front door, flooring coming up in a few places and few amenities reminded me of the age. Motel 6 is a popular choice for budget travelers and those challenged with housing options. I hope you can improve and continue to serve this market. It must be tough in this competitive market. Thanks for leaving the light on for us!
