Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Breakfast was mediocre (by European standards even poor). So we skipped 2 times out of 3. Houskeeping was not consistent. One day they left only 2 towels for 3 people, 2 other days they forgot to bring toilet paper or replenish kitchen supplies.
There was very well equipped kitchen in our room. We were buying prepared food in Whole Foods Market and were eating it in our room to save on restaurants. Shower and air conditioning were working well. There was even guest laundry for 1.5$ per drying/washing cycle, which was very convenient.

We loved everything
This place is so amazing! We will always be coming to Columbus for all concerts and comedians and will be staying here. It is soooo clean and the bed was so comfortable. We are coming back in 2 weeks for another concert! Your staff is the best too. It's so hard to find a good hotel nowadays.

The couch was a little cramped and hard. I ended up using bed pillows on it. There were only three chairs in the kitchen not four, but we were a party of three so it was ok.
We were well cared for by the staff, who warmly welcomed us. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. There was enough room and seating for us to spend time as a family. The food at breakfast was good, including healthy options, not just the bare minimum. The plants were very healthy and made the hotel feel lonely. The lobby decor felt like a living room or home library.

The ice machine fiasco! It took me forever to find said ice machine, and I ended up having to ask where it was. Once I found it, there were no buckets, so I went back to the room to find one, and there wasn't one at all. Had to use a trash can to transfer ice to our cooler. Also, the sleeper couch mattress was an absolute joke. We ended up having to get a stowaway bed, and even that mattress left us having to add the couch cushions on top, for it to be comfortable for a 150lb adult! Perhaps an upgrade there? But, we made it work! Please know, these issues are so very minor to us, more so an inconvenience, and the employee who brought the stowaway bed went above and beyond to try to remedy the problem, but we just ended up using the couch cushion, and it worked fine for us, for one night. It would probably be an issue if it was more than one, though!
The staff was quick to assist us with everything we needed! My Mom is blind, and our room was comfortable, completely accessible, and your staff was so friendly! Even the pool was clean, well maintained, and easily accessible for her! The continental breakfast, was AMAZING! And the woman who worked the breakfast area in the morning was an absolute treasure. She made sure my daughter and mother were comfortable, was so kind and engaging, we wanted to tip her, but she refused. She is an absolute treasure and we hope she is appreciated! The pillows, pure HEAVEN. And the bed was difficult to get out of. It was pure magic, even though it was a short overnight stay! The amenities and the amazing staff made our stay beyond worthwhile! I am now a loyal customer and will be sure to seek Residence Inn by Marriott out, whoever our travels take us! HUGE bang for our buck!
