United StatesThe lack of housekeeping. Forthe rates charged, I should not have to bring out the trash and get towels from the desk, daily. For a seven day stay my room was cleaned once (after 3 requests). Every day the halls were filled with wet towels and trash from the guests. Twice, at 4:30, someone knocked and asked if we needed anything- a little late for clean towels. There’s front desk staff, breakfast staff, handyman staff- why not housekeeping? ( or is no one managing them?) We are bonvoymembers and have stayed here at least a dozen times. Will be looking for a hotel with housekeeping next time.
We like the rooms, the space and the breakfasts.

from the moment I walked in, I was met with a friendly atmosphere and a welcoming front desk. We were allowed to check in earlier (which I highly appreciate, as we both had to work that day). Our room was amazing! Spacious studio with designated areas to eat, to work, to sleep, to get ready, and to take a bath. I think it's bigger than my Manhattan studio haha I rarely leave reviews, but this stay was so perfect for us that it would have been wrong not to : ) All amenities are kept VERY clean, there are few to almost no people. Calm aura everywhere. And it's not far from Fishkill and Beacon with all its attractions, cafes, etc. We were not going out to eat, our studio/room had a perfect kitchen with all appliances, a microwave, and even tiny dishsoap in addition to a capsule for a dishwasher (if you are an old-schooler like me). I am looking forward to returning to this amazing place and will definitely advise it to everyone who'll be visiting upstate NY.
