How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The facility didn’t clean or make up my room on a daily basis. I didn’t know we will need to do these services ourselves. I contacted the management and got very little response! They told me because we were in an extended stay hotel they only clean room when you leave or every 7 days. I asked them to show where you state that policy in their description or rules about the hotel. They basically said we were out of luck and they could make some lining available but we will have to do the service ourselves. I was very disappointed with this arrangement because we paid good money for the stay. We paid as much as we wouldn’t paid at more upscale hotels. Again, I was very disappointed with the service.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. Marriott modified the housekeeping frequencies in 2021 at all select service and extended stay hotels. Our standard housekeeping is to refresh with fresh towels and empty waste every other day and full clean only at 7 day intervals.

Verified reviewI love the fact that property was right on the beach, and if you are traveling to Myrtle Beach and want to be close to the amusement park and activities on the strip but not right in the middle of the hustle and bustle this location is perfect. It's beautiful and peaceful and the staff makes you feel so welcome. And I loved the kitchenette in the room, wonderful bonus we had a full fridge and plenty of space to store our snacks and drinks that we planned to use while hanging on the beach.
If I really had to pick something, maybe cleaning the pool chairs more often when it's full with kids during the day. I had to reach out to the staff to clean up the chairs, due to the kids leaving food on the chairs. Now they cleaned it right away once I brought it to their attention.

The parking.. we had 2 vehicles because there were 5 women in the group in one room and we had to pay to park off of the property which I found to be very inconvenient for your customers staying at your property. And why do you charge to park if your a customer staying at your property?

We do charge as the upkeep of the garage is costly and to be fair, only applies to those whom are utilizing the service. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future.

Verified reviewThe view was beautiful. Having an ocean front on the beach was nice.
Too many dogs on the property, they were even allowed in the pools. My room wasn’t clean, there was broken glass in the dish washer, the rug was disgusting filled with sand and dirt and dog hair, the mirror had finged initials and names and heats on it on the bathroom so it showed once the steam hit the glass. There were stains on the walls and on the sink fixtures and foot prints on the wood floors from people walking barefoot and wet. And was told the night before I left CT I could pay the remainder balance in cash from a night shift employee.
