United StatesBeware the pet fee. My service dog always travels with me and most places let you know of a nonrefundable deposit. Normally $50 or $75. Not a word was said to me. Was charged $150 after my stay. For that alone I would not stay here again. The parking deck had confusing signage as to being able to park overnight. So I spent $70 to valet. All in all I would not stay here again.
Staff was great. Super friendly and helpful. Room was nice. Very clean. Stephanie checked me in and was very welcoming. The girl doing schoolwork in the evening with glasses was awesome. There was a path along the river nearby and we went walking. Very nice.

When I brought it to the attention of the desk clerk attendants, they said they wasn’t aware that there was a public parking garage next door.

United StatesThe bed wasn’t super comfy but the big issue was the noise, we heard doors, plumbing and hvac noises all night. It was so bad we hardly slept. The room was warm, temp was set to 84° when we got there. We tried to turn the a/c on for sleep and it was so loud we thought it’d wake our son up so we turned it off and roasted all night.

United StatesThe property used to offer parking at around $8 per day. Now they only offer valet parking at $34 a day. That’s crazy! Also, there are a couple of metered parking spots in front of the building where you can pay to park for up to 2 hours. But, on several occasions those two spots were cordoned off as “valet”, which really restricted our ability to find parking without paying the $34. We also wondered if the hotel can restrict parking in those two metered spots because they are run by the city, not the hotel.
it is consistently a good place to stay in Wilmington.

The hotel manager was very nasty I was moved to three different rooms The rooms were missing items, including appliances & silverware Extremely noisy The staff were unprofessional and rude I did not have one good night there I was forced to leave a day early & told to contact booking about refunding me for the night, along with my spoiled food. I was humiliated. I have travelled around the world and stayed in many hotels, resorts, cruise ships, Airbnb…and have never been treated or made to feel like I felt at Residence at Marriott
