It was over crowded, staff were rushing around and the pools were not being monitored by staff and kids were all over the place with no adults to reel them in

It was nice looking but the rooms at night were not private enough and it was loud. Lota of kids running around.

No real complaints - the price isn't cheap, but you get your money's worth.

The resort was great for a relaxing trip with family, as it had everything on property, including pools, outdoor activities (e.g., hiking, golf), restaurant/food options, spa services and shopping. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the views were amazing.

more than 600 USD for a suite without meals per night is pricey. But compared to other accommodations in Squaw Valley it has extra value due to the pools, Spa, and proximity to the resort chair without any wait times.

Magnificent views from the valley view rooms. Very conveniently located right next to the resort chair; skis can be left in the ski room overnight. A beautiful pool and hot tub area. A wellness area with separate saunas and steam baths.

The front staff wasn't especially warm and welcoming, but were my biggest issues: Before booking the room, I called the resort and was told the rooms had kitchens. I was not told only suites have kitchens or I would have booked one. Parking: $65/day for valet, $35/day self parking. Outrageous. Housekeeping: Why oh why is housekeeping a request and not expected? This is a RESORT, where you participate in outdoor activities, accumulate trash, and need fresh towels and clean coffee cups. Housekeeping came the morning after we arrived - 8:30am. I told them to come later but they didn't return until I called for service after we returned late afternoon. I won't get into all the issues, but we had a problem EVERY day, although I discussed this twice with the front desk and they took noted the requests (so they said). Locker fees: $30/day. Why not free? Are guests not paying enough? Bearshine Cafe: The food is brought in, not made fresh, so forget it if you are vegan or lactose intolerant. $1 for alternative milk for coffee? And the biggest issue was that it was CASHLESS. Awesome gelato, though - really to die for.

This is one beautiful resort! The rooms were good size, and the bathrooms were roomy, with shelves under the sink. The water was hot, which I LOVED after a day of skiing or being outside in the snow. The room also has Lavazza coffee machines and coffee pods, and a small refrigerator. The bed comforters were thick and soft: it will keep you warm, although I still needed extra blankets. The nicest staff was found in the spa. Savannah from Michigan was very helpful and provided tons of information, from ski runs to food, with a bubbly personality to boot. Cascades had a FABULOUS breakfast. It's expensive, but if you are hungry, this is the place to be. Waffles are airy, English muffins are so buttery it's insane, gravy so rich you'll gain 5 pounds, and congee, dumplings, lox, and to order omelettes. Really relaxing atmosphere, too. There is a lot to enjoy here. Take it all in!

The adjoining door is very thin so we could hear the family next door quiet clearly, even when they were speaking in normal voices. Also the parking was a bit of a shock. $65 for valet parking and $35 for "self-park" which is like a mile away on an icy road with no walking path.

The staff was amazing, specifically Timothy who was the supervisor of the Bell Hops. He was so friendly and helpful and made we want to return again someday!

The rooms are loud as the walls are thin/connected units divided by a wooden door. If you have a wedding party or family with kids staying next to you, which you most likely will, plan on hearing their conversations through the wall.

I did not like, that Booking never inform that valet parking is 60+ usd per night. Hotel also never indicate this in description. So br informed about this. I did not like how your filters are working in hot tubs. Water is durty. 2 tubs never works proper. I did not like overal prices of food and briekfats. So be informed that Adult =36 usd for each per night + each child = 15 usd per night. Again nothing about child pay in description. Briekfast is good. Main restorant - stake hous, never visited. Price...price... Shop -cafe in Hotel OMG, overpticed everything. I know that shop is not a part of the Hotel. But that is point to bring snaks, whater and etc - with yourself.

I like location, friendly personal, good and big portions of the food in Bar. I like most of things and enjoy my stay. Good place for winter stay.

If I were to nitpick.. The bathroom felt a little outdated, and the sink was small. I felt that the pool could have been kept a little cleaner? Saw a lot of pebbles/dust/pieces of plastic settled on the pool floor. Oh and I wished they gave us some slippers to wear with the robes! Ahh but I enjoyed my stay nonetheless.

First of all, excellent location! We loved how the chair lift was just outside our door lol easy access to Palisades Tahoe. I enjoyed the spa pools, love how they decorated the surrounding trees with lights too. And talk about the luxurious robes! Overall great resort with well equipped facilities!
