Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaIf we have to find something is that we could hear what was happening in the hallway and the AC was directly on the bed so cold for the first bed but ok for the second.
The people were super nice, the room was big, there was a gym, a storage system. It was in a great location, close to everything with a lot of options for food around!

United States of AmericaIt’s an expensive, large city and the fees and taxes attached to the room price make the stay pricey.

United KingdomThe beds were extremely comfortable, would stay again for the beds alone. The room was large with lots of floor space, even with suitcases. Hotel is in a beautiful location, where you can easily walk to the Common.

United States of AmericaTerrible coffee set up in the room, similar to that in a much lower quality hotel. They should have small fridges and nicer coffee machines.

The upgrade to city view was worth it. The balcony was awesome and allowed for two working people to have conversations on the phone without interference with the other.

United KingdomRoom turndown service was poor. First day bathroom not cleaned. Second day my nighty was left hanging from the light fitting between the beds! Not what I'd expect when staying in this level of hotel. Shame the rooftop bar wasn't open at all during our stay, it looked a great spot.
Location was perfect. Close to common and all visitors needs. Lovely hotel, reception and restaurant space was great.

MexicoService was lacking. Arrival amenity, a surprise for my spouse, was not delivered until next day and my follow up. Surprise element was lost. 2 lights and phone not working and reported, never fixed. One night coffee was only replenished with decaf- def not a great start to the day and that same amenity ; now empty bottle of champagne, ice bucket and champagne flutes placed in my closet as opposed to removed from room. Last night no housekeeping service. Overall the staff too nonchalant at critical touch points.

United States of AmericaThe bathrooms are a little small and ‘tired.’ Showers could use updating. We had a housekeeping concern in the bathroom but it was addressed when we spoke to a staff member.
The location was ideal for exploring Boston. The interiors of The Revere are well-designed. The coffee station and the Bevi machine off the lobby were nice touches. The rooms are average size and comfortable.

IrelandThe man at reception on check in was the rudest man in America. Tried to double charge me. Gave me zero information about the hotel. Never took his anger eyes off his computer screen. Hotel falsely advertised their roof top bar/the only reason I booked this hotel and then claimed because of “the rain” it was closed. We could see guests in it from our bedroom. False Fake advertising.
