We arrived at the hotel slightly before check in but still wanted to take advantage of the day, so we asked to use a bathroom to change into cycling clothes. The person attending the front desk told us there was no public bathroom and couldn’t offer us any solutions. We asked what time we could check into our room and they also couldn’t give us an estimate. It felt a bit unprofessional. Bikes are not allowed in the rooms, so we had to leave valuable bikes outside locked on our car, which added some unnecessary anxiety to the stay. While they offer coffee for the morning, it’s poor quality. We ended up going to a great coffee shop/book store instead.

It was a good location and allowed us to see Ouray and the surrounding area. Easy to jump onto the back road and do a day cycling trip to Ouray. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean.

In order to use the microwave or coffee pot you had to move them to an out let because the one you should have used was covered by the little wardrobe unit!

Overall, it was great—perfect location for getting to Telluride, Ouray, and more. Just one thing—the mattress needs to be replaced.

The housekeeping service was minimal. No bed making and one day towels were taken away but no fresh ones left. Had to go to the desk to request clean towels. Fairly expensive stay for a basic motel type unit. Restaurant menu was pretty unappealing, in fact we left before ordering to look for better offering. The restaurant was only open Wed-Sat for dinner.

The property is basic without much character. The staff was pleasant enough but not above and beyaond by any means. The beds were comfortable and the room clean.

I didn’t like arriving at 3:35 pm and being told I couldn’t check in until 4 pm. There was another couple waiting to do the same thing sitting on the sofa. We left and came back at 3:50 pm and had 3 people in front of me checking in at 3:50 pm.

The cleaning staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful!

There was a DJ playing electric music at Greenwood's bar across the street well into the night—it was loud enough to feel, not just hear. Worse, it wasn't even good EDM and it was poorly mixed.

The front desk woman from Montrose was absolutely lovely—welcoming and kind. The bed was very comfortable, and the room had every amenity you could want for a comfortable, no-fuss home-away-from-home stay.

Room was functional, but plain.

MTN Lodge is a fairly large motel-like property on the main highway through Ridgway. Rooms are large and clean and come with a coffee maker and a microwave. Bed was comfortable. Great view out the window of surrounding mountains. Staff was friendly and helpful. The property has a bar and restaurant, but it was closed the week we were there. There was a good restaurant a short walk away.

We're confused cause nobody told us that we still has to go to the reception although we got an online key beforehand. But this could be handled very easily and the staff was always friendly.

Great value - very nice, modern, clean rooms. Good beds. Beautiful bathroom. Also has a restaurant, which we didn't use, but it was a good unexpected amenity. Only stayed one night.

Spacious, warm room. Shower very good with plenty of hot water and good pressure. Room could do with better lighting and a better selection of pillows would have been appreciated as all pillows were very flat.. Ample parking and we liked the free tea/coffee station. WiFi worked well. Staff were very nice and friendly.

Place has a bar which is very popular, finding hotel parking between 6 and 10pm on Friday, Saturday will be a struggle Confusing checkin instructions (you get the email, saying that everything can be done virtually, but also you will get a call later during the day saying that you need to do physical checkin as well) AC/Heater sounds like starting SpaceX: your choice if you want sleep in cold or noisy environment
