Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The only thing that wasn't great was the shower leaks water all over the floor because of the gap.
Location was great, very clean and updated room, very comfortable beds. Great toiletries.

Breakfast is only prepackaged items. The shower flooded the bathroom everytime - could tell it’s been an issue because of baseboard damage.

There was a lot of road noise and the aircon unit was very noisy. The bath/shower was very difficult to get in and out of. No grip handle, ended up slipping and hurting leg.
The room was modern and clean. Very big comfortable bed. Nice outside seating area. Able to park car outside door entrance. Fridge and microwave included.

The breakfast was grab and go which was good for us because we didn’t eat breakfast there but good for others to know. Also the WiFi was horrible. The balcony door didn’t want to stay closed at times.
The bed was very comfy. The location was amazing. The staff was very nice and helpful. The shower was also great. The fireplace was very warm and relaxing.

Our stay at River Edge Inn was absolutely delightful! The cozy rooms, stunning river views, and friendly staff made for a truly relaxing and rejuvenating experience. The inn's tranquil atmosphere and lush surroundings allowed me to unwind and disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The amenities were top-notch, and the breakfast served was delicious and fresh. I particularly enjoyed the scenic walking trails nearby and the convenient access to local attractions. We can't wait to come back and enjoy the serene atmosphere again!"

Disappointed in the breakfast as it was packaged snacks. Chose this hotel because it breakfast was included. Ended up having to go out for breakfast. Outside of that, I would consider this hotel again. Nice room and quiet.

The exterior could use work work, it is not in great repair and not especially clean.
The rooms are comfortable and clean. The location is very convenient, there is ample onsite parking , it is reasonably priced. We have stayed several times.

Office doesn’t open until 8 AM. Breakfast is it until 8 AM Rooms open to the outside .Common areas were pretty dirty. Elevator was very dirty. Furniture in the room very worn. Bathroom was clean. But the lights weren’t very good. It was pretty dark. Name is kind of leading. You can’t see the river.
Room was big, nice,clean. Our king room had a fireplace with gas logs,And a balcony. We were only there for one night, but it was good. Nice location on the backstreet.

Wasn’t as clean, and very difficult to get in and out of tub.
It was less than a five minute walk to the strip in gatlinburg.

The shower was small but manageable. The water pressure was perfect though.
All of the staff we encountered were super friendly and helpful. The mattress and pillows were like sleeping on clouds.

I didn’t like the toilet moving around and very low water pressure when flushing toilet. I also didn’t like the bathroom door handle being broken making it hard to open and close.
I liked the comfort of the beds and the hotel room is very nice and cozy. This isn’t the first time I stay at river edge in and it’s definitely the first time something is wrong with the bathroom atleast in the room I stayed in.
