Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesIt was on the dirtier side with visible dirt in the corners of the rooms. In addition when we called the staff for late check in, they hung up on us before ensuring I got the correct information.
It was a cute little campsite next to the water!

United StatesThe only thing that I would suggest is be ready to battle the bugs. The property was older but clean and well maintained, but it is directly next to a lake where bugs are extreme.
Swan and the staff at the onsite restaurant were excellent. The food was wonderful in the restaurant. The check in process felt like I was meeting up with a friend not checking into a camp site.

United StatesThe restaurant was closing as we checked in. However they offered to make a take out order which was very much appreciated. It's only open for dinner. Would be nice if there was breakfast there, particularly for travelers not arriving with groceries.
Rustic, but that's to be expected. Good flat bed, great shower, full kitchen and living/dining area + outside picnic bench on porch. There are probably 2-3 billion people who would kill to live here permanently with their family! On a beautiful lake within 30 minutes of Crater Lake. We were there for one night only. This place would be a good multi day place to stay and vacation.

United StatesA few mosquitos, but worth spraying on protection.
Beautiful setting in Redwood trees and views of Upper Klamath Lake. Friendly visitors and nice restaurant with deck outside and views of the lake and habitat. Loved the mountain cabin experience, bear motif quilts, cedar wood panels.

United StatesThis is an old-time family resort with what must be an unending maintenance list. But the effort is there and shows results. That’s great, because places like this need to continue to exist.
Attentive staff/management, happy to improve a guest’s experience.

United StatesThe kitchen had everything we wanted except for paper towels. That would have helped us keep surfaces cleaner. We didn't want to get any coffee stains on the cute hand towels.
We rented the "Big House" and it sat on a hill nestled in the trees with a wonderful view over the lake where you could see the sunrise. The furnishings were extremely comfortable with plenty of beds, recliners, sofas, chairs, etc. We even found some puzzles that we put together while resting for our hikes.

United StatesThe outlet in the bathroom keep clicking off. I tried 2 different blowdryers, and neither would work. Since the hot and cold water was switched in the shower, we wasted a lot of water trying to get the shower to warm up.
Good tasting water. The fridge was good sized. No tea provided, but I brought my own... Had to run water through the coffee maker 3X to get rid of the coffee taste. Good shower, except the hot and cold water was switched. Good bed and pillows. Nice electric fireplace...especially nice in the fall.

United StatesWe booked last minute, just needing a room on a road trip home. This would have been an excellent find if we had arrived earlier. It is a campground and small motel on the lake, with a rustic restaurant looking over the water. The helpful young lady, Lindsey, offered to let us put in an order even though they were about to close. (closing at 8 p.m.) Instead we bought a beer from her and sat on our balcony with the food we had grabbed enroute. It was at the end of a long day, so the 40+ minutes around the lake from Klamath Falls seemed long, but I recommend this basic motel if you have time to enjoy the setting, the sunset and the restaurant. Clean, comfortable, basic room.

United StatesMosquitos! But that can’t be avoided - bring bug spray! The giant long-horned beetles flying around were a little scary due to their size but they’re harmless lol
The staff here are uniquely wonderful and they’re all personable and courteous. Our stay was comfortable and our room was neat and clean when we checked in (thanks Krystal!). We ate at the restaurant onsite and the food was tasteful with Angela being a wonderful waitress! We did a 2-hr kayak during our stay and Jonathan was so nice in helping us w/ that. Danielle is a hoot and a holler and continued to make us laugh w/ her jokes throughout our stay! We did some birding and it’s cool to just spectate the herons and various birds around the area (like Kingfishers!). Overall our expectations and needs were met by the amenities provided!

United StatesThe small single bed in the living room in cabin 3. Narrow and uncomfortable. Plus sun coming into window with no shade, only a white curtain. No trash can in kitchen. Guests are also required to remove their own trask out of the cabin, or get charged extra. The outside (grounds) looked disorganized. Garbage on outside of dumpster in plain view. Perhaps a good location for fishermen, as it lacks the typical "resort" amenities. Restaurant only open for dinner, not breakfast. Steep drive down, be extra careful if you drive RV or pull trailer.
Overall it was acceptable. Not the best and not the worst.

United StatesThe RV was old and run down. It looked like the facility was “trying” but it was cleaned- dirty and inadequate. $147 to rent something that should have cost $50. The shower was inadequate and did not get hot or warm as promised. . It was so bad that we didn’t take showers, we decided to take them at state parks. My mom wasn’t sure the sheets were clean. The queen bed was tucked in this inaccessible nook, you had to crawl into. The other bed was a very hard “futon” with a big bar down the sleeping area. Heat was wonky — either 80 degrees blowing or a loud generator noise even when we turned it off. This was the most uncomfortable stay of our trip, and we have been staying in cabins in state parks. Do not choose the RV. Scale of 1-10, 1.
It’s a great location for water activities - kayaking, boating and you can rent them. The fish were jumping. The waterway was simply perfect. The restaurant was good. Staff were very friendly.
