The parking was annoying. Not much there and you could only park certain vehicles in certain spaces. Not ideal for a pickup.

Everything was great.

The hotel has a lot of charm and the rooms was extremely comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed our balcony although not all rooms have a balcony. The breakfast was nicely done with great options. It is a perfect location for seeing Mt Rushmore and to explore the town and local area.

Need paper cups for the coffee. Some fresh fruit would be nice.

Staff was awesome. Friendly, welcoming and quick check in. Room was comfortable and quiet. Loved sitting outside on the porch.

Breakfast area is tight and very busy and parking is very tight and all vehicles very close but that would not stop us from staying here again.

The toilets, very low to the ground and I am short, also the water seemed to rise really high when flushed and took a while to go down. Also even though there is no smoking right out from on the porch to the entrance in front people were vaping.

The hotel is lovely. We loved everything about it! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The lady who checked us in recommended the best restaurant in town for a fish dinner. It was excellent! The room was so beautiful, clean, and welcoming. The breakfast the next morning was superb. I highly recommend a stay at this hotel!

The parking lot "in the back" was a little scary. You had to go up this steep incline to get up there and the whole time you prayed that no one was coming down at the same time. We had no real issues with it in that we never met anyone mid-way up or down, and I understand why it was constructed the way it is based on where the hotel is, but it was just a little off-putting at first. Once I conquered it, it was fine.

The lady that checked us in was very cheerful and friendly. She was also very helpful when we were trying to decide where to eat dinner. The room was clean and had ample room for both of us. The location was perfect. We traveled from Illinois and had spent the day at Badlands National Park and were heading to Mount Rushmore the next day. The wonderful lady at the front desk told us about the lighting ceremony, so we opted to do that and it was awesome. The drive to and from Mount Rushmore was really easy and it took virtually no time at all to get to and from the location. The parking lot was a little scary at times, but everything worked out. I highly recommend this hotel. I would stay here again.

Everything was clean. Great location. Staff was great. Very accommodating. Nice touches like breakfast with real eggs! Syrups for your coffee. Ice lemon water. Ceramic coffee cups. Nice gazebo with clean furniture. Beautiful flowers. Rocking chairs on the porch. Great place!

Breakfast was great! Staff was friendly. The loft room was great for traveling with my parents, providing more space and a little bit of privacy. I liked the Teddy Roosevelt theming.

Room was small with odd furniture and placement of clothes rack was just asking to be hit with your head. But I only once.

Staff was great, responsive and friendly. Breakfast served on real dishes and with real silverware. Unheard of for a complimentary breakfast. And the menu changed on 2nd day, surprise.

Convienant, clean and close to attractions and some restaurants. Very nice staff.
