We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaThe gentleman that worked there was rude. I’m not sure if he was the owner or what, but when we first arrived to check in, he didn’t greet with a smile or a hello. We got a “what do you need?” Well, great start. We get into our hotel and it’s HOT not only outside but also inside. Turned the AC on to realize it didn’t even blow out cold air, there was nothing they could do. We went and paid $60 for 2 fans just to keep us somewhat cool. Woke up the next morning to realize that the “free breakfast” that was supposed to be included wasn’t even a thing. Our festival was canceled 2 days early so when we spoke to the gentleman about getting a refund for the last 2 nights we wouldn’t be staying there, he said there was nothing he could do and booking.com only suggested we talk to the hotel. So no resolution. This was probably the worst hotel stay I’ve ever had.
The only thing that there was to like was how inexpensive it was.

United States of AmericaThe motel probably wouldn't pass a health or building inspection. The toilet was about to fall through the floor. The shower looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. The build up of dust on the base boards was approximately 1/8" thick. The door had been kicked in several times, by the looks and function of the door jam. I checked out a day early, due to the concert being cancelled. I asked the day before if I could get a refund for the one day. The operators told me no, they don't issue refunds. I needed to contact who ever I booked the room through to see if I could get a refund, but doubt I would get anything. I check out a day early anyway, and asked for a receipt that verified I checked out at a specific date and time. They said they don't provide that and "that's just how it works." Overall the motel needs to be condemned. The operators were not friendly or accommodating. I will never stay at this motel ever again.
The location is close to the music venue.
