It was advertised as on the ocean but in fact was in a building at the back of the resort with no real view of the ocean. It did not have access to the ocean from the unit.Also, a 3rd floor unit with no elevator. The guest bathroom was out of order.

I left some items behind by accident. Called about it. Never heard a word. Two brand new bathings suits still in packaging. You would think that they woudl have contacted me to return them.

The room could use a deep clean more frequently. The ceiling fans were loaded with dust, the patio had debris all over it, baseboards were grimy. The feather pillows were too soft (do people really like those kinds of pillows- they’re everywhere). Lastly, the jacuzzi tub in the bedroom is unnecessary -there could have been 2 beds in that room (which is what we expected to get). The couch bed was like sleeping on the floor.

The location was great. I liked having a washer and dryer. The boardwalk to the beach was helpful. My kids liked the pools. Someone called me the morning of arrival to give us the room number and code since we would be arriving late.

The mattresses and pillows in both bedrooms of our particular unit were very old and uncomfortable. We aren’t a usually picky with beds/sleeping on trips. We made it work but the first night it was difficult for everyone to sleep well.

Very convenient spot to stay with young kids. Short, easy walks to the beach and the pools. Condo was very clean and quaint. The heated pool was awesome, and the other 2 pools seemed nice and clean too. Beautiful landscaping and grounds. Perfect for a family trip.

1. suppose to be a packet left on table with parking pass and swim bands for the pool....nothing 2. we had adjoining rooms...door between was locked from both sides and couldn't access 3. we didn't know about the code to get into gate at the beach.... 4. garbage bags didn't fit the garbage cans....... 5. Used the washer...dryer didn't work....heated but did not tumble 6. I CALLED SEVERAL TIMES ABOUT THE ABOVE ISSUES (EXCEPT #4)..KEPT BEING INFORMED THAT HOUSEKEEPING WOULD BE NOTIFIED.... the only thing that got fixed was the adjoining door..but took 2 days... we like the location and the beach and we did like our room but communication and getting things were a problem....we called about the dryer on tuesday and as of saturday when we left it still wasn't fixed and no one ever even came to check... Mike & Lois Palermo.....i did already do one survey but have heard no response, hoping we do from this one.

Shower had a lot of black mold around the bottom tile base. Living room furniture was uncomfortable.

Location was ok but would stay closer to St. Augustine historical area next time. Check in experience was a disaster as we were never given the code to combination lock or our scheduled unit and nobody was answering the customer service phone!

Most of the outdoor gas barbecues didn’t have working starters.

We love the beach and pool at The Hibiscus, and the laid back atmosphere of this resort.

There was no welcome kit with parking pass. We had to get beach gate access codes from other people staying at the complex after several attempts to get them from the realty company. Cheap garbage bags split twice causing a garbage spill to be cleaned up twice. This is not a fault of the condo as it was very nice.

This condo was very clean and stocked with what we needed for a good stay. The beds were comfy and the hot tub was great. The heated pool and outside hot tub were excellent

There was no designated parking spot for I306. The window to the unit next door was right on our patio which is a security concern. Especially since the patio door did not lock or have a cross bar. The weather strip on the bottom of the entry door was gone. So there was a huge gap under the door for bugs to crawl in. Also a full size fridge would have made a huge difference. We had no way to store more than one day of food at a time. The unused closet would make a perfect spot for a full size fridge. The little apartment was the perfect size. I just think the space is not used to it full potential.

We enjoyed the roof top deck, pool and location to the beach. The complex was pretty quiet and relaxing. Pools, hot tub, and landscaping were all very well kept. We absolutely loved all the palm trees and beautiful flowers around the complex.

we thought we would have an ocean view we could actually see but we couldn’t see it. I paid extra for that when I could’ve got the same view without paying the extra money waste of my money it was very deceitful what they did.

Rather sparsely decorated in main living area with little space for dining table. Most definitely not ocean facing, and in fact its 1st floor unit with windows and patio facing the street and parking lot. Very few plates, glasses and utensils; basically enough for one meal for 4 before having to wash dishes. Wierd jacuzzi tub right next to quees bed in one bedroom, made for awkward navigating to bathroom in the night. Entire condo facility looked like it was used hard and put up wet, a bit rundown.

we were on the 3rd floor. my 85 year old mother and 75 year old aunt had a difficult time getting up and down the stairs. it was not ocean side and ground floor like I had requested. They were doing construction next door and made it very noisy. We could not even find access to the beach and there was no staff on site. we didn’t even have a welcome package and no contact whatsoever with the owners which I had emailed for more information and never received. The washing machine didn’t work and flooded the bathroom, I walked in and slipped and fell on my hip and dislocated my ankle. I was able to pop my ankle back into place only because I knew how with the help of my mom and aunt whom were retired RNs. if I hadn’t been able to do that this would have been a much worse review. one of the dinning room chairs has a broken leg, which I found out upon sitting in it. also, we never found the pool.

the apartment was clean and decorated nicely, however there was one chair broken and the washing machine flooded the bathroom.

Not being able to sleep due to very loud croaking frogs right outside our bedroom windows. Our room was next to a man made small water feature that had very very loud croaking frogs all night long! AWFUL! Made sleeping quite a challenge! No purpose to the water feature so I would recommend that you do away with it. It’s not even aesthetically pleasant.

Spacious rooms. Clubhouse availability for large family to eat together. Lots of pools. Numerous BBQs available for cookout. Beach area are GREAT!!!
