Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Nothing, my stay was exceptional.
The free art exhibits in the lobby were a lovely addition to the stay. The complimentary glass of champagne was an unexpected and welcomed arrival perk. The rooms were beautifully decorated and the bed was extremely comfortable. Everything was incredibly clean. The bathroom had a large, almost steam shower with fabulous toiletry products available. Desk space was plentiful, there were plenty of outlets and USB ports for charging electronics, the coffee and water station by the elevators was well stocked and cleaned frequently.

Our room was above the bar so it was quite loud. We also heard the outside traffic throughout the night.
Great location, very unique. I love the bar and restaurant area, great food and drinks. The rooms are spacious and the coffee and water station in the hallway was very convenient.

Rooms were nice but more standard/generic than I was expecting—but this is actually an upside bc made it more affordable I think. The things that matter more to me—a beautiful and lively lobby, smaller thoughtful touches like champagne upon arrival and a ukulele and turntable in the room—were delightful. Good focus of resources

Nothing. Everything was amazing.
The people I spoke to who work there are amazing! The atmosphere felt so comforting and inviting. The beds were very comfortable. I love the fact that there was Netflix and YouTube on the TV. And it was great that there was food until midnight so my friend could get something to eat. I'll definitely be coming back to this hotel again.

Our pullout sofa was missing bedding. We phoned down twice and were told they were told they would be right there. We waited over 2 hours and finally went to bed. The hotel rectified it in the am by comping our breakfast. Which we appreciated.

Awesome, friendly staff...extremely accommodating. Food and beverage manager was awesome and saw to it that we were taken care of even though the restaurant was having staffing issues. Amazing brunch and kind attentive waitstaff. Beautiful property and rooms... the view was sensational!

My worst complaint and really wasn't that bad would be the parking and understanding of how the garage worked. But some of that was on me and the garage not owned by Saint Kate.

The smoke detector went off while I was in the shower due to steam. Everything else was fantastic.
Friendly and accommodating staff. Great food and atmosphere. Plenty of space to work and relax.

The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are wonderful and the art is great. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The location is perfect for exploring Milwaukee.

I was supposed to have my parking validated but was still charged. The server in the Bar was not very responsive and we had to ask for service a few times.
Pretty decorating, the restaurants, large room, bed was comfortable.

The sink didn't drain well. Otherwise all was great.
We loved all of the artwork as we are retired teachers, including one who taught art. We did not eat here.

Quite expensive. The breakfast was $25 per person which seemed steep for what was offered.

Drink prices (too high), I live in a small town and the bar is definitely making money off their drinks.
The beauty in the design, modern luxury for sure.

We paid for a 400 sq foot King Bed with pull out ... it really was tight. Bathroom was not very spacious. We expected there to be a little more space. We travel with kids 6, 8, and 11.
Location was incredible. Not being familiar with Milwaukee and having 3 kids we took a shot and nailed it. To walk outside our hotel and see the river with the draw bridge, very unique experience. We walked everywhere and ate some pretty iconic Milwaukee food. Live music twice a day created a great vibe. Free champagne at checkin. The most amazing lobby smell. Gourmet coffee and each floor. ARIA's breakfast 10/10 - great value , quality, and staff.

Not a ton a restaurants that one could walk to.
Love the Art focus! Ukulele / Albums to play and colored pencils and paper to draw. Live music in lobby and art installations, too!
