On the first day, I called the front desk to request two bathrobes and was told the hotel does not provide any, which was surprising for a resort of this level. On the second day, we found a dead roach in our room near the writing desk, which was unpleasant.

We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed the beautiful ocean view and the convenient beach access. The grounds and location are lovely, and the dining areas have a relaxing coastal atmosphere.

We had to call everyday to have our room cleaned, our key card did not work on several occasions. The restaurant was overpriced. Bathtub/shower was not clean, nor was the toilet. Elevator was out of service many times.

Needs a little updating. Lobby furniture is soiled and past its prime. Carpets could use replacing.

Pool area was perfect and the highlight Of the stay. Also, love the convenient location. Easy access to the Village and groceries.

Room is dated, furniture and bed lumpy and uncomfortable. Cushion smelled like vomit and nasty, bathroom too small, carpet felt sticky.

Lack of convenient self serve coffee service in the main building. While I understand why the in-room coffee maker was situated in the bathroom, it makes brewing in room an unattractive option.

The room service was not efficient and did not clean well. Sand on the floor from the first day remained throughout our stay. We had to ask for service and supplies each day, which was quickly done but not unless we asked. Even then nothing was changed without request from us

Very small bathroom. It took ten minutes for water to heat up for shower—not exaggerating. Only one hook in bathroom for towels (one was hanging off wall.) Bathroom needs towel bars definitely. Needs bar soap.

The hotel was pretty run down. More than I would expect at this price point. Dead flowers on the bar area tables, outside by the pool, and at the entry way were not appealing. The giant Christmas tree, however, is gorgeous! Carpets/rugs, elevators were very worn. Food all over the chairs in the restaurant at several tables. Spa looked very dirty so didn’t use it, and used water bottles and napkins scattered around the pool area. It just didn’t have the cleanliness and polish I would expect of a high end hotel.

The location was great! Beautiful beach front location. Short walk to restaurants /shops. The front desk staff were very pleasant and welcoming.

Stayed in Oleander Building. Upon arrival, the elevator button didn’t work for 2nd floor after pressing numerous times. We went to 3rd floor then walked down then took the stairs the rest of the time. The lamp by the bed had plugs for phone chargers but both plugs on one lamp sparked when plugging in. I called & reported when leaving & the girl seemed disinterested & said she’d tell maintenance. No concern or apology expressed.

Re: beach: Beachside was nice, lots of swings & chairs to relax & would have been perfect if warmer.

It was not possible to pay for a late checkout at 14:00 even if the hotel was far from full. The shower in the bathroom did not have a nice spray and enough pressure.

The room was spacious and the staff were very nice. The location on the beach and not far from the main centers of interest were very appreciable.
