Perfect location to the beach, the pier and any other places you want to walk to. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are perfect and clean. We have stayed here a number of times and will always return whenever they have a room available on our impromptu trips.

Bathroom and kitchenette very small, but worked out ok. Not really a good sea view from window, but so close to beach it’s ok!

Proximity to beach; tables outside; just outside of busiest area, so not noisy; close enough to walk everywhere; comfy beds and good air conditioning. Very nice front desk folks.

One light didn't work. One shade didn't pull up and down properly, but these were minor and I only mention them so you will be aware.

I missed not having a printed menu of available TV channels, listed by Channel Name and number, for easy tuning. I found the "Guide" as called up by using the TV remote control to be cumbersome, diffcult, in fact almost impossible to use. I never did find CNN, much to my chagrine. I suppose I could have called the Hotel Desk and asked Ossie or whoever was on duty for assistance, but didn't have a convenient time to make that call. If (when!) I make a return visit to Sandpiper Beachfront I will ask for this info when I check in, and I hope by then you will simply hand me a printed list! Otherwise, thank you for your excellent accomodations and service. Also, when trying to reserve two rooms, it was impossible to accurately describe our party (me as a senior,, my adult daughter and two minor granddaughters). Whenever I entered "2 adults, 2 children" I was allowed by the software to only reserve one double room. We needed two rooms, so I finally fibbed by listing "3 adults, 1 child" to be able to reserve the second room. A minor software problem, but frustrating nonetheless.

The bathroom is very tight. We accidentally slammed the door into the sink a time or two.

This motel is retro. BUT it was SO clean and cozy! We slept so well on the comfortable beds. Simply being there felt safe and peaceful. It was so nice to walk into town using the beach too. It was a dreamy place for our date weekend.

The staff is exceptional. They are sincerely friendly, helpful, and very hospitable. You can't' beat the location-directly on the beach and walking distance to restaurants. This place is spotless. We stayed in an efficiency unit with kitchen, and it had every appliance, pots, pans, dishcloths, dish soap, plates/glasses, everything you could possibly need.
