Decent coffee (from a machine). Comfy bed. Unique surroundings.

A little more info and interaction from the desk person would have been nice. Didn't know there was a kitchen or coffee service until I stumbled on it. Nice choices on the furnishings, but TBH some pieces seemed worn down with visible stains. (Damask room and front porch.) Place seems clean, just heavily used and in need of freshening.

Lots of noise in the morning as they were getting ready for their events. My room was by the storage closet and back stairs.

Paulina was very helpful. Loved the wine and snacks. Bed was comfortable and extra sitting room was nice. TV's were nice. Location off of Heights very charming. Enjoyed the soaps, lotions and overall vibe.

Somehow I missed that there was no breakfast. We also had very weak water pressure in our sinks. The outside porch did not look like the pictures and seemed worn down. Would like to come back but would probably need a breakfast added or a room with a porch. Felt a tad claustaphobic in the Floral Suite with no view or windows in sitting room.

Great location in the Heights! Close to many restaurants and easy to walk the neighborhood.

Other guests can be easily heard throughout the inn- conversations in the halls and going in and out of doors.

Lady is who maintains the room was nice, lady at front desk did not look happy to be there.

The location, value, and history were excellent. The complimentary wine and coffee station were nice. The front porch was a comfortable place to sit.

What breakfast?!? Not even coffee! The bed was nice...that's about it.

No one talked to us to let us know what amenities like coffee were available. No warmth in staff. So we didn't have breakfast or even coffee. And coffee is important to me. And kleenex in the room would have been nice. For the price of one night, I give Sarah's a "meh" rating.

Beautiful property in a gorgeous neighbourhood - lots of great places to eat and shop in working distance. Lovely rooms.

Nothing it was beautiful.

The location and neighborhood are incredible for the Houston area. As Europeans, we really enjoyed it! Also, the easy parking is great and the style of the house is pretty unique.

Nothing major to improve. The bedroom was not the biggest I have rented but you have access to other rooms of the house.

The room we had was large and the bed was very comfortable. The ensuite toilet/shower room was large too. There was a kitchen area where we could make coffee. There were plenty of parking spaces at the side of the building.

We loved the location and the wonderfully decorated ambiance. The beds and bathrooms were immaculate. Definitely recommend. Coffee in the morning was perfect as well!
