How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I would have appreciated more healthy options at breakfast.

The breakfast was disappointing. No waffle maker and the pancake maker was not available. The refrigerator was hot and the milk and yogurt were ‘warm’.
The pool was nice to have, needs some maintenance.

Didn’t like there bathrooms. The tub was striping of its originally color and the shower appears to be dirty.
The common area was very clean and also the rooms. Felt really comfortable there.

Pool needed some shade area to seat. Gym was very small and extremely limited equipment

Breakfast is inedible. In the middle of the night, for hours! there were some people running in the corridor, slamming , kicking the doors. The soundproofing in the room was very poor, you could hear everything from the water being turned on to the toilet being flushed from the next room.
The cleanliness was absolutely good, the bed/mattress was excellent. The room facilities were also fine.

The place is clean
The hotel was clean overall, very noisy, in the middle of the night some people started kicking doors and ran... Breakfast place is tiny and overcrowded, was bearly anything to eat..

We needed to stay an extra night in Sarasota due to a flight cancellation. We booked our stay through Booking.com not really knowing the area. The facility was pretty new and was clean. It was relatively close to the airport. We were first sent to a room that was not prepared to accommodate new guests. We went to the desk and then sent to a room that was fine.

Our family had a wonderful time and I do recommend but Noise is my worst complaint because the walls are paper thin you hear everything including the bathroom and in the neighboring rooms, the doors are heavy and slam shut loudly in the night when your asleep

under the circumstances. staff did well.
bkfst excellent. Hurricane interfered. lost power, however the emergency lights did not come on in the hallways unless or at least they were not on in the early a.m.

The room was not very clean, we had a sofa bed when we opened the sofa bed there was trash under the sofa bed it was not pleasant at all the coffee maker in the room was not clean, room service came to clean the room the beds were made they replaced the towels and when we looked my son had dropped some paper and they were still on the floor so the room was not vacuum.

We were close to an elevator so we got the constant beeping of the elevator being used, otherwise everything was good

Bathroom needs to be painted. Shower-head was old and rusted and shooting out everywhere. Mold was seen. Sink was updated but the tub/shower was old and did not look clean. Re-tile the shower, floor, and new shower head. Fresh corking is needed all over the bathroom.
Location was good. Shopping nearby. Room was good. A lot of breakfast choices.

The room rate was more expensive than what would be expected for the location. The extra 8 dollar a day charge for parking was not expected.
The facility was very clean and quiet.

The building itself is somewhat dated. Compared to other hotels, the beds were not as comfortable.
It was clean . The location was convenient. We had fresh towels every day.

Some of the facility could have been updated better - some were but work was sub par. More lighting in rear parking also.
One of the best breakfast we have ever seen at a Hotel. Variety and some healthy options.
