Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Noise at pool, Friday asked barman to turn down music. Saturday afternoon dj was too loud. Music had heavy base beat. Saturday night they showed movie , our room looked over pool, was annoyed.

Daughter has allergy to gluten. Waiter did not provide her with GF meal that she requested, and so she had to return that plate. On his return, he suggested gnocchi. That also has gluten, and would have made her very ill. A bit more staff training on this issue would be the answer.
Re comfort - ability to adjust light in room was fabulous. We slept well as a result of dimmable lights. Beds were great for my 75-year old back. Staff - from valet park man to front desk ladies and man, to restaurant staff - great! We could not enter the workout/gym area with either of our keys - a staff member from spa went there and made adjustment to door so guests could access.

Pool was closed for renovation and area was a bit of a ‘building site’. Could have done with the pool in the very hot weather.

The first 2 nights the air conditioning was not working properly and temperatures were 116 degrees.
Very beautiful and clean, personal was very attentive.

Couldn't close bathroom door if toilet seat was down. Refrigerator was small and tough to access.

Our “pool view” room had no view. Our window looked into the back of the pool cabanas. The pool has lots of “reserved with towels” loungers that we never saw anyone use. We struggled to get a spot each day.
The hotel overall is lovely, we will visit again. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Room was spotless. Pool area was really nice too.

Its a little outdated you can see it in the day time early at 6am in the morning there was loud noises from a remodeling going on in the room above it was annoying and we couldn't sleep .

Maybe some vending machines as I got very thirsty at late night and want to buy some water.
They responded promptly to any problems coming up with my room. Im so happy with my stay.

Nothing could have been any better. The pool, our room, the food and service were all excellent! Our family truly enjoyed our stay and will be back!
Breakfast was delicious and the views were beautiful. The wait staff was excellent and the service was quick! We would love to visit again.

Walked in room, first thing I saw were dirty base boards and doors. It's okay that the hotel is older but these areas looked like they hadn't been cleaned in months. Asked for a pool view, got a view of a roof top and a glimpse of the pool. They were doing maintenance on the hot water which we were notified about when we got there. Said it would be Tuesday and Wednesday night but ended up being Thursday also. So each evening we were there we didn't have any hot water. The hotel didn't discount the rate or offer anything for the inconvenience until I complained about the hot water for Thursday. Then they offered $100 of the $1200 back. The water pressure was also messed up. So when you did shower the water would fluctuate from low to high. We were also given a room on the third floor away from everything. We never even saw another guest in the area of our room.
The spa was great. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating.
