Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Room starting to show age and could use some upgrades and refinishing but still nice
Nice lobby area, kids loved the free cookies. Breakfast was good. Pool was nice, quiet even being by airport. Suite was large

The hotel and room were clean. The pool is nice. The property is well maintained. The location is good and the staff was professional. The price was also reasonable, which is important to us.

Housekeeping didn't get the word, or says she didn't get the word, that we had received permission for late check-out. She made it clear she was not happy we were still in the room after 11:30.
My wife says breakfast was very good. Due to an event at Westworld, we asked for and received a late check-out. Front desk staff was helpful and friendly. Overall, exceeded expectations for a hotel in Scottsdale that was half the price of most of the others.

Even though the hours and food was good for breakfast, the hot pans didn't keep the hot food very warm. I also didn't see any ice available for iced coffee. Free wifi would start to go in and out later in the evening. Could use an up there. Wish the bar was open on Sunday.
Breakfast was good in the variety every day, along with the available seating.

The shower floor surface was slippery, we had to put the floor towel mat on the bottom of the shower.
The breakfast was excellent and staff was very helpful. We loved the bold coffee and homemade breads!

I have to keep asking for basic things like towels and toilet paper, it would be nice if housekeeping knocked on my door and asked if I didnt put a sign up for privacy.
I am staying here for a week and extended my stay from a 2 night stay and love the size of the room. It fit the needs of me and my sons and my pets, I like how there is separate rooms for privacy. Breakfast was delicious and staff is always warm and inviting. The location is great also, this is like a hidden gem for this area. The hotel seems a bit dated but does have the hotel accommodations down, iron board, coffee machine and microwave. I would stay here again or any best western just because of this experience. There was an issue with the shower also, but a maintenance guy came and fixed the issue right away.

Love how this property is set off, a bit away from the hustle and bustle of Scottsdale. They have an incredible hot breakfast every day. Pam and Steve are this amazing couple that does the breakfast on certain days and they absolutely made my stay. People that work here are happy and it certainly makes customer service and just everything better. The pool was very clean and the grass area was so nice.

Breakfast is free for guests and abundant and varied. The cleaning and breakfast staff are always very nice and helpful. We love that the room has 2 separate sections, bedroom, and office, so you can be working in the office while the rest of the family is resting in the bedroom.
