Just as described- European charm with simplicity and class. Family friendly hotel. Staff were so kind and helpful. Other guest very pleasant. Police officer/security made us feel safe (mother daughter alone). Restaurant, pool and cabana very nice. We loved the walking path and the beach. Will return-great location.

Some features are outdated, little rough around the edges in the room, and would have preferred a stand in shower. But I would stay here again for the combination of value and comfort.

Overall I thought our stay here was really nice. Great pool, a gym with plenty of options, location was unbeatable. Spacious and comfy room. Good wifi for video calls. Fantastic AC

This hotel is so well located ,the main reason was that it was a beachfront but I couldn’t enjoy the ocean at all because it was full of algae and pretty smelly . Nothing to do against nature. But overall , this hotel is so outdated . Floors and rooms are smelly , had it light up a scented candle every day to disguise the odor . The hotel has no life inside . The gym is located in the lower lobby which is was kinda creepy sensation that area there . Needless to say how old are all of the equipment and so secluded, no view , no inspiring . You can tell everything that is not working at that placed because it looks abandoned. The staff is pretty nice though. I got a previous room that was super uncomfortable for me , including their king size bed doesn’t looks like king size , more like queen and they gave a different one with a better distribution, still a small bed not what I paid for . At the end when I was checking out , I noticed they were charging me for a meal I never had and it took for ever to do the new bill

The room was nice and spacious, and the view was fenomenal. The hotel felt a little bit outdated, and in need of a renvation, but it was still a pleasant experience and this was just a minor thing. We would recommend this stay.

The bar and restaurants were overpriced and food/drinks were just average.

The location was perfect. Very large size pool and beach front location. Also across the street from Bal Harbour shopping mall with nice shopping and happening restaruants. The rooms were very large with kitchenette and 2 walk-in closets. Although our room had not been renovated, like most other rooms at the hotel, it was very nice, clean with beach and pool view. The rooms had connecting doors, which is great for families with children. On-site parking was easily available and significantly cheaper than other beach hotels. I would definitely stay at the SeaView again!

Very clean, polite staff, excellent housekeeping and very comfortable bed! Our king size standard room with terrace was large and quiet!The coffee shop was convenient and Jen and Mr A, the cook, were lovely, kind people who made you feel very welcome! This was our third visit and by far the best! The location of the Sea View Hotel opposite the Bal Harbor Shops with its variety of restaurants is an added bonus!

I think, as an European, that it is exhausting that tips are expected all the time in this hotels as in others, so one has to have cash and change and give it to people all the time. Room service ladies expect tips everyday. We forgot first day and then the cleaning lady didn’t give us more coffee/tea or shampoo. That was clear message! Otherwise very nice staff in reception, bar, swimming pool and beach🥰. Plumbing could be better and the “stairs” in the pool are worn out and yellow so they could change them

The hotel did not offer free parking and it was not a cheap hotel! Housekeeping could have been more thorough. Over the 4 days never vacuumed the carpet and one day came very late.

The hotel is outdated, old furniture, stained bathrooms, they still use super old magnetic access cards that demagnetize the second they touch your phone. If you toss the cards in your bag with your phone it wont work. We had to go to the reception each time to change cards. The location is great if you want to stay on the beach or use the pool but if you want to explore the area the traffic to and from Bal Harbour is insane. Nothing close to the area and most restaurants will close at 9PM.

Unfortunately, there is a big building under construction next door so during weekdays it was very noisy in the pool area. The noise wasn’t perceivable indoors or in the bedroom. The staff gave us complimentary breakfast vouchers to make up for it—they tried their best to make up for a situation that wasn’t their fault or could control, and we appreciated it. Hopefully it’ll be short lasting since it’s a nice play to stay.

Location is perfect - right by the beach with a very nice, big swimming pool. Our room had a beautiful view of the bay. The staff is super friendly, attentive, and accommodating. It was very pleasant and relaxing to stay at a traditional hotel that doesn’t feel corporate and overcrowded.

The staff were excellent and efficient at both reception, activities centre and the restaurant. The room was very clean tidy and had everything as described. The location was as we anticipated and within easy reach of shops, restaurants etc. with its own private beach. There were several pools to relax around

The building next door was under construction and the pool was no fun to use with all the noice Monday to Friday.
