Reviews of Sea View Hotel 3 stars

From the minute we set foot in this Hotel we were immediately greeted and checked in. Service to our room was prompt and the facilities were extremely clean. We had breakfast every morning of our stay at the hotel restaurant. The servers were extremely attentive and nice! All of the hotel employees we encountered greeted us and made us feel welcomed. I am SO GLAD this hotel popped up on my search when booking our vacation. The location was perfect. Walking distance to stores/restaurants. Might I add the BEACH access and the workers that help set you up on the Beach! I did NOT want to leave this place !! The hotel pool was perfect too!! Even the Pool Bar! Gosh I miss those Pina Coladas!!!!

Just as described- European charm with simplicity and class. Family friendly hotel. Staff were so kind and helpful. Other guest very pleasant. Police officer/security made us feel safe (mother daughter alone). Restaurant, pool and cabana very nice. We loved the walking path and the beach. Will return-great location.

Didn’t go into the water because of seaweed.

Overall I thought our stay here was really nice. Great pool, a gym with plenty of options, location was unbeatable. Spacious and comfy room. Good wifi for video calls. Fantastic AC

Some features are outdated, little rough around the edges in the room, and would have preferred a stand in shower. But I would stay here again for the combination of value and comfort.

The bed is really comfortable.

This hotel is so well located ,the main reason was that it was a beachfront but I couldn’t enjoy the ocean at all because it was full of algae and pretty smelly . Nothing to do against nature. But overall , this hotel is so outdated . Floors and rooms are smelly , had it light up a scented candle every day to disguise the odor . The hotel has no life inside . The gym is located in the lower lobby which is was kinda creepy sensation that area there . Needless to say how old are all of the equipment and so secluded, no view , no inspiring . You can tell everything that is not working at that placed because it looks abandoned. The staff is pretty nice though. I got a previous room that was super uncomfortable for me , including their king size bed doesn’t looks like king size , more like queen and they gave a different one with a better distribution, still a small bed not what I paid for . At the end when I was checking out , I noticed they were charging me for a meal I never had and it took for ever to do the new bill

This is a nice clean hotel, and the silence contributes to a good night's sleep. The reception staff is professional. Maria is especially hospitable and has always solved all our problems. Her assistant Dante is also very friendly. We had a good rest and regained our strength.

Food was just okay and the property seems tired

Beach/pool were lovely- provided chairs/towels. Walking distance to Bal Harbor shops/restaurants/grocery store/starbucks.

Construction next door - ruined pool/relaxing time. They really should offer that as a disclaimer at booking. Reserved/paid for king balcony room, was given first floor double with kitchen and big closets. Didn’t need/want any of those things, so it was wasted. No one cared to make our stay better or fix the mistake. Outdated rooms, but somewhat reasonably priced. Also, roads were closed due to fires, so we couldn’t even make it the first night that we paid for. No one cared to look into refund or anything to make up for it between hotel or booking.com. Disappointing.

Proximity to the beach and Bal Harbor shops is good

Food and drink options in the hotel are limited, the lobby and ground floor felt vacant

The room was nice and spacious, and the view was fenomenal. The hotel felt a little bit outdated, and in need of a renvation, but it was still a pleasant experience and this was just a minor thing. We would recommend this stay.

The hotel Staff was wonderful. Our room was super clean with a beautiful view. The bed was comfortable, towels and linens were great.

We liked everything.
