That we couldn't have a longer vacation!

Very comfortable space and bed, lots of extra details to make you feel at home and special. Good water pressure/volume. Beautifully decorated space and gardens. The patio area and backyard were amazing and could spend hours relaxing out there. Owners on premises and very responsive and enjoyable to meet and spend time with. Both felt right at home and able to enjoy privacy if needed. Would book again in a heartbeat!

The room was very relaxing with an extremely comfortable bed and pillows. The back garden was very cute and quiet. The walk paths were great for an early morning coffee break. Fresh fruit in the morning was great! The owners were amazing and easily communicated to help with accommodating our arrival schedule and answering any questions of the area. Definitely would want to visit again!

Everything was lovely, especially communication with the host. Just remember bathroom is private but it is across the hallway from the bedroom.

Location is in the residential area, so there is not much walkable places around. Also be aware that in order to get to the bathroom you might cross paths with other residents.

It was very lovely place to stay over at. The incredible garden and the back patio at the back are huge. The rooms are spacious, bright, clean and cozy. It's also very quite and there are 3 incredibly friendly dogs that we got a chance to pet!

It's simply wonderful, as the title says 'coastal hideaway' is accurate. After a long haul flight from Australia, feeling tired and arriving earlier than anticipated, I was warmly welcomed. This really is a great place to relax, and the community surrounds everything you need. Thank you so much for welcoming me to Carlsbad.

The Hideaway is a delightful surprise like no other. It’s a sweet sanctuary in every way. There is no other place like it on earth.

The bathroom was across the hall from the room, right next to another guest's room, and you could hear the other guest going in and out of their room, even though they were quiet. The air fresheners were a bit heavy and seemed to be covering up old odors?

Hosts thought of every detail, e.g. good coffee pods, to go cups, unexpected breakfast, water bottles, robe, plenty of towels, and things I didn't use but were nice, eg chocolates, loofah mitts, fridge, microwave... Also the bed and pillows were very comfortable! And the hosts were very nice and accommodating.

The entrance is through the bathroom, but it was so minor, it didn’t bothered us at all

For couple, or even if you look for some quite time, it’s the perfect place to stay The garden is AMAZING, we didn’t want to get out of the house The host is super nice lady that took care of us like a family It was super clean and stylish, and the kitchen outside was perfect We had the nicest time in there
