We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United StatesComplex appears to be in transition and not for the positive. For a condo area, each unit maintains their own outside landscaping and many were unkept. Lots of construction type residents with service truck and vans. Humidity issues especially first floor to the point exterior doors were sticking. Unable to get into the resident for over 2 hours due to malfunction of the keyless system. The patio was dirty, leaves, vines and weeds growing everywhere and mold and mildew walls. The unit next door patio was filthy, kept the upstairs windows open where a huge dog barked every time we used the patio. The owner was very responsive but disappointing and definitely not to the Hilton Head standard.
The interior is absolutely beautiful. The kitchen is well stocked and great location. Pet friendly. Property owner was readily available and quickly addressed the many issues.

United StatesIt says on advertising it has a sleeper sofa, which it did not. Which created an issue. The floors were disgusting and weren't mopped or only mopped in spots. Walls had black spots and dirty spots which could of been easily cleaned up. Spider and cobwebs in the corners on the ceilings. Top of fridge was disgusting and hadn't been cleaned. If I was the owner, I would consider a different cleaners. This will definately effect my de idiot to use booking.com again or stay at serenity in paradise. The issue with sleeper sofa and it not being clean put a damper on my families vacation.
The location was great, the inside was comfortable. The furniture was clean. It was pet friendly, which was great. It was well stocked with toiletries and towels. The setup was nice.

They had lots of extras in the house. We went to the beach and they had boogie boards available and beech chairs.
