We stayed in the historical section of the hotel....which means shared bathrooms and shower down the hall. Very inconvenient.

location in town was very convenient. easy to walk to restaurants and bars. lots of cool old stuff in the lobby!

No food facilities so had to go out and not much available but end of season.

Lovely old property beautiful decorated, furnished but clean with all facilities (except breakfast!) lovely location for strolling waterfront. Free shuttle from train or cruise ship. Staff very accommodating.

older furnishing in the room, Beds were not great. Room was dark. The night we stayed the restaurant and bar were closed.

Beautiful historic hotel, in a good location. Several options for eating and shopping within 3 minutes walk. The Sea Bean Cafe is very good for breakfast and lunch. Sea Life Center is also just 3 minutes walk. Free shuttle from the train station and to the cruise terminal. Seward is very beautiful, surrounded by awesome mountains and is one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited.

Front desk lost my reservation which was a little frustrating and it was a little expensive for what you got.

The room was very small and had a sink right next to bed, it was very awkward , and a bit difficult during the night to use the restroom. Restroom actually has 2 doors, one to our room, and the other to the adjourning room. That made it very easy to hear what people in the other room were talking about. Not much of a soundproofing. The reception people were very slow on both check in and check out.

The hotel is conveniently located at the end of the street, away from all the noise yet close enough to the tourist street with restaurants and shops. Lobby has nice chairs and couches, very local theme. The bed was very comfortable with nice soft pillows. We had our private bathroom.

The room amenities were quite sparse for the price of the hotel. I had one very tiny container of shampoo and that was all.

The location is excellent if you’re taking a cruise.

It’s a little pricey but I was there in the height of season.

This hotel has an old charm to it! It was very clean and comfortable. The staff was great and the location was perfect to downtown restaurants and shops. Walkable to the dock area also.

Not a complaint - front desk was having technical problems with their 'key machine,' but did an excellent job adapting.

Atmosphere of the 'old wing' was all one would hope for - a bit of being back in the glory days of Seward. Very helpful staff. Great location in the center of town.

Bathroom sink was too small, and no privacy. Bath tub and toilet and hair blow dryer were in the same room.

Location was in town, and the bay one block away. Restaurants and shops just in walking distance. Room and bed were comfortable. Microwave and fridge provided.

Little things were off that could easily be spruced up. 1) The electric fireplace lights worked but it didn’t heat. 2) The shower head was VERY old, which is great for aesthetics, but soaking it in vinegar would open up all of the plugged holes. So again…nothing costly, just some time to tend to some details. But, all in all a great place and would recommend to anyone!

The view was supposed to be of mountains and the ocean. On the second floor, we had a great view of a tree.

The location was wonderful. Walking distance to several restaurants, shopping and the Sea Life Center.

No sheer curtains to let light in, for privacy, and to block view of windows in building next door.

Friendly staff, beautiful lobby areas. Pleasantly surprised that there was a sink and mirror in the room even though the bathroom was down the hall plus one in the lobby area.
