Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesNo complaints. I would stay there again. I have never stayed at a place like this before. It's a house and you rent a room. Shared bathroom.
The cleanliness, no hassle check-in and price. Perfect for an overnight stay

NetherlandsNothing for me...
Standard room, good bed, fridge in the room (it made quite a bit of noise when it switched on at night)|. The shared bathroom was clean. There was a kitchen which the guests could use (I didn't). I liked the neighborhood. Easy access with code. The location was further away from downtown Anchorage but the bus (line 20) wasn't too far away so for me that was ok. Large supermarket not too far away, not a lot of restaurants though.

United StatesI booked a room with a private bathroom, it had a shared bathroom with an indeterminate amount of people. Ther was no Shower current, ran out of toilet paper, and the door did not lock. I found that out the hard way. I could not shower, mostly used public bathrooms while out. I came back Thursday afternoon, where the neighbor across the hall from me started having an issue with her friends and boyfriend at around 4pm, very loudly until 3am. Additionally, she tried to break into my room thinking it was hers repeatedly at three different occasions. An authority figure showed up at 3am and supposedly removed said person. No she was back or someone came back around 4:30 am where I proceeded to pack up my stuff and leave. This place was absolutely not anything as posted and the view in the backyard is basically a junkyard. You can hear everything throughout the entire house, people talking below and next door, while someone was in the bathroom.
Not a single thing.

United StatesLocated in a sketchy neighborhood. Very dark inside. Smelled of cigarette smoke. Neighbors are too close for comfort (I listened to an elderly woman talk to her dog for 1/2 hour), no toilet paper in a shared , waaaaay too expensive for a room with no amenities. I didn’t stay long enough to see what it looked like after dark.
Absolutely nothing.

IndiaWhere do I begin? 1. The host didn’t share the wifi username and password. I was heavily dependent on wifi because my US mobile service provider doesn’t work in Alaska. I tried reaching out using another guests phone (by asking for help) and Ali was unresponsive. I found out the next day that he messaged me the details later at midnight on Booking.com but how could I be expected to access the internet in the first place? He should’ve added the details on the welcome email or on a card in the room. Wifi is a key amenity and I wasn’t provided this. 2. Felt very unsafe - I knocked on a fellow guests door to ask the wifi password. A 70 year old tattooed man with a bulldog came out and said he didn’t know. The man went out and drove off in a car. 5 minutes later - another old man came out of the room and said “he stole my car!” This is not the kind of place I want to be staying in on my vacation. 3. Very shady neighborhood - neighborhood had dilapidated buildings. Because of all the above, I had a horrible experience. I went to bed with a chair pushed against the door in case anyone tried to break in.
