Location and amenities were great. The room was as expected for an older hotel, very clean, and delicious cookies were provided with the turn-down service. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent, with large portions. We're already planning on coming back.

It’s weird the ice machine is on the 3rd floor and vending on the 2nd floor. No signs to direct you to the correct hallway to the ice machine. No hooks for clothes or towels in the bathroom. Next time I’d like a handicap accessible room without the frosted windows.

The woman behind the desk was not friendly. The pool and arcade were not available due to renovation which is understandable but there are 2 ping pong tables with only 2 paddles to use. One table sat empty bc as the woman told us with an attitude “the other paddles broke a while ago”. I also have a suggestion of putting a garbage can in the main lobby and possibly having the lobby cleaned early in the morning. We came down for coffee in the morning and the lobby was still messy with used glasses and crumbs etc from the night before.

Location is great. I love the lobby and the new addition of mini golf and ping pong.

Some of the faculty is dated but all super clean and it has an old style charm.

The facility is charming with lots of holiday decor during New Year’s Eve. The breakfast buffet was great with many options and the New Years buffet and party was very well done and lots of fun. The staff was all super helpful.

The breakfast buffet was not hot enough. The room 225 was very tight and small. Air would go on and off all night. When it went off room got warm. I would not want to stay in that room again.

The grounds, the views were phenomenal. The brewery next door awesome. Good omelet station at breakfast. Buffet menu changed daily, awesome.

They didn't hold a tour the day we were there and we had been looking forward to that. I enjoy walks when I vacation - they didn't have any trails on the property so you had to get in your car to go somewhere nearby.

The breakfast was good, but a little pricey; the hot omelettes were great. The benches placed near the lake were nice and they had a great firepit to sit around in the evening. The beds were very comfortable.

On the 2nd night of my visit, my television kept freezing. Daniel from maintenance did try to fix it but stated they were overhauling the system to a new carrier. I was one of several complaints. Was not told the River Room restaurant would not be open. Bathroom, yet clean, had broken window shade, broken tiles by towel and the toilet paper was behind you when you sit down. Ceiling had water stains. Room at end of hall, next to balcony. Had to keep curtain close so nobody could see in my room.

Iris, the desk clerk was very helpful. Cara the historical tour guide was very pleasant. I enjoyed my mini massage. For the most part, the room was pretty clean. Spent all my dining at the Gem& keystone Tavern. Tommy and Logan were wonderful servers. The food was delicious.

The hotel was a bit dated there were parts of the wall in our room that were scuffed, the elevator was very dark and scared my son and the shower height was clearly set up for people much shorter than myself (I’m only 5’ 10”)

The location is great and the staff was very friendly, the price was great for what you get and the beds were comfortable.
