We stayed for three nights and there was no room cleaning or room service offered. They didn't refill our coffee pods/creamers in our room and no fresh towels available. The room above us had children jumping off the beds and furniture that went well into the night. When we checked in the front desk attendant was not friendly or welcoming, though she was efficient.

The shuttle was a real plus and did run regularly. The other plus was the Japanese restaurant located in the hotel. The food and the staff in that restaurant were absolutely wonderful.

Check in was to late 4:00pm, had to wait over 3 hours to get my room .. also drivers need to be strict and more professional of not letting people cut in line when picking up at the park.

The rooms were difficult to get to. Even on our 5th night there we were getting lost getting to the lobby. There was a family there checking in when I was at the desk and they were frustrated and sweaty, and said they had pushed the luggage cart for 30 minutes and couldn’t find their room. I told the front desk staff I felt the same way when I checked in. But it was night and I brought the kids up first thankfully. They nickel and dime you. It seemed like everything they did there had a few associated with it. I ended up having to rent a car to get to universal because there wasn’t a shuttle to that park. And it cost me $25/night to park the rental there. And then to receive a package, another fee. I can’t remember what else, but it felt like every time I did something they were like that is a $$ fee. Maybe it’s an Ohio thing, but they don’t charge to park cars here. Things could use updating. The shower - and the ice makers were broken. It took us 4 tries to find one that worked.

The hotel was nice and looked nice when we walked into the foyer. It looked nice and the rooms were comfortable. Could definitely use some updating. But they were and the cleaning staff was very nice. The shuttle was helpful and on time every time.

The bathrooms were on the small size. Could have been larger with size of the room. Had to request housekeeping after 2 days of no towels. Although my niece and nephew loved the fireworks my daughter who is autistic did not. Very close to where they are set off. Did not get why we had to tip for insight meals and one of the food staff was pushy with it. Property did not have any other entertainment options which is a shame apart from princess Connie who was available on Fridays, subday magician for extra cost and games room. What a missed opportunity with their space they could offer way more.

The pool was lovely and the room sizes were big. They provide a printed tv list which was helpful. My niece and nephew enjoyed watching the disney fireworks every night. No noise and pleasant receptionist staff, very helpful.

A fun, comfortable, and affordable stay with just a few minor quirks, but overall a fantastic choice near Disneyland

The value here is so strong that it’s honestly difficult to point out anything negative—but for fairness, I’ll mention a few small things. Some of the in-room amenities feel a bit outdated—not in a charmingly vintage way, but more just older, like the phones, alarm clocks, and television setup. That said, with Disneyland right next door, watching TV probably isn’t a top priority for most guests. I did notice a little wear and tear around the door to what I assume was the furnace closet. It wasn’t a major issue, but it did make that corner of the room look a little rough compared to the rest. Lastly, while the décor is overall fun and engaging, a few elements felt slightly mismatched. The theme is enjoyable and creative, but here and there it doesn’t always flow perfectly together. Still, it adds to the quirky charm more than it takes away. These are truly minor observations and don’t take away from what is otherwise a fantastic and memorable stay.

The property itself is beautiful, with a style that’s both charming and engaging. Themed touches throughout the hotel give it a quirky and fun personality—modest in some areas, but still delightful overall. The complimentary tram service was incredibly convenient, making the trip to and from Disneyland quick and effortless. Although we didn’t get a chance to dine there, the on-site restaurant looked promising. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the forest mural on the wall—it added a unique touch to the décor. The furniture was well-kept, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even better. For the value, this hotel is hard to beat. Comfortable, affordable rooms, easy transportation to Disneyland, and a cool theme all combine to make it an excellent choice. We have no doubt we’ll be staying here again.

The room was nice and clean, quiet and roomy but the beds little old feeling. But did its job for an overnight stay to enjoy Rope drop bright and early.

Loved the location, quietness of room, the shuttle service available to and from the park, the cute courtyards around property, and the staff. Was able to use shuttle @7am to have an early start, vs parking garage opening @7am and dealing with parking and tram traffic. Was in the park by 720am.

The pool needed more towels, but we also went later in the evening so that's probably why the stock was low. The bathroom in our room was like a storage closet. Even the doorway was smaller than the standard size. That aside it would not stop me and my family from returning. We had a highly enjoyable experience

The property had a bar/ restaurant, beautiful courtyard, and a game room. Special features like the princess on staff, a movie on the lawn, and the fireworks show seen from Disneyland. We had a very spacious 2 queen beds and sofa sleeper room with the biggest closet I have ever seen in a hotel room. We had a highly enjoyable experience

Smell of old cigarette smoke in room. Shower water pressure wasn't great. Thought it was a more walkable distance to Disney. Site shows 3 min staff said 30 min.

Room size free shuttle quiet close to Disney. Staff very friendly. Very kid friendly for downtime. Can see fire works from parking lot and probably some rooms. Nicely decorated for upcoming holidays. Comfortable. .

Really bad signage: very difficult to find our room. There are two signs directly across from each other pointing in opposite directions to the pool. The music outside comes on too early in the day and stays on too late at night. Some parts of the day should be about peace and quiet. Some of us prefer to be outdoors to read or just wind down after an over-stimulating day in the park without being forced to listen to music, particularly music we didn’t choose. Parking should be included in the room rate. Didn’t like that surprise nor the parking “tax” in addition to the hefty $25 fee. Lastly, coffee mate powder in the rooms? Really? Are creamers too much to ask for ? Such little details matter a lot.

Decor, kid-oriented themes, the pool, the variety of pillow types.

The bathrooms were antiquated and need upgrading. The A/C did not work on our second nights stay and we sweat our butts off all night long on the 3rd floor.
