Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe room was very musty smelling. Sometimes smelling like cat urine. We had tiny ants in our room also. Staff came to spray but we still had them after that and just had to deal with it.
The pool was AMAZING and the resort is in a great location! Great spot for snorkeling being right by Black Rock! Walking distance to Whalers Village.

United StatesThe night at the Japanese restaurant, Sunday the 13, I had the Marlin. It was on the grill for a very long time and was way overcooked and not even eatable, very disappointed! Other than that, all of the other meals were very good.
The property was laid out very well. I'm in the swimming pool industry in Denver, Co, our company builds and renovates swimming pool & spas for commercial properties. I really enjoyed the layout of the pool!!! GREAT!

AustraliaThe air conditioner was noisy and didn’t cool our room very well, we had to have the fan on high and set to the coldest setting for the room to be just cool. Parking is a long way to get to but we realise you did have valet service but we preferred to get our own car
The location is 10/10 the layout of the resort was great and to be able to walk straight onto the beach and swim with the turtles and amazing fish was the highlight of our stay 🥰 plenty of entertainment at night with a Fire Dancer, Luau/Hula, Cliff Diving Ceremony nightly and great singers to listen to it was magical

United StatesWe weren’t properly explained how our hotel credit worked. We thought it was only $100 total, but it was actually $100 per day. We found this out later on our own.

United StatesNo entertainment, music or games a night. The rooms need to be updated. Beach chairs and umbrella should be free of charge, or at least cheaper for customers. The drinks were so expensive and we couldn’t bring our own drinks. Unfortunately, , I didn’t feel that I was staying at Sheraton’s.

United StatesI was a little disappointed in the breakfast buffet. The seating outside was wonderful, but the actual food choices could have been better. They had better buffets in the 3rd world country of Peru that was included in the price of the hotel!!! Come on Sheraton. I was also frustrated about the chair situation. People would come down at 6am and put towels on the pool chairs and then go have breakfast. I saw one family come back from breakfast, grab some of their stuff off the chairs (but left the rest) and went to the beach. This left no seating for people who just wanted to swim for an hour or so-
Location, loved the wrist band key card!! Loved the daily activities- we fed the koi and made a lei. My granddaughter loved that!!

United KingdomThe staff were very welcoming and we were offered a selection of upgrades, but choose to remain the room we had booked. We stayed in block 4 and the 'partial see view' from our room was amazing. There is additional parking by this block, next to the tennis court I highly recommend an evening or two in the Bar and Grill. The staff are lovely and helpfu, evening coulture events of music, hula dancing and cliff dive were wonderful pleasant. We had dinner in here several evenings during our stay. Grounds and gardens are spacious and very well maintained. I was one of several guests who enjoyed watching the palm trees being trimmed. There were some guests who felt it acceptable to leave used coffee cups, towels etc. anywhere they pleased, but staff were very quick to clean up after them. Some areas could be updated, but given the Islands, to be praised, sustainabilty goals, I am more than happy to stay in a hotel that does keep refurbishing.

United KingdomExpensive. Didn’t feel like it was value for money. Also BYO snorkel equipment and you need to book ahead for the luau, Teppanyaki Dan and any diving activities.

United StatesThe resort was too large for our family, we prefer smaller resorts. Also, we paid for an ocean view room, but was given a first floor room, in the furthest building away from the ocean and our view was nothing but resort. We couldn’t see or hear the ocean from our room, just resort noise.
