I'm in a room next to a storage closet which is accessed quite noisily at 5:30am and about 7:30pm. Shower got very warm 2 out of my first 7 days cold to tepid for the rest. Once addressed, shower was warmer, but never hot, I was only on the 2nd floor. Ice machine wasn't working either time I tried to use it. Washing machine isn't working, Ground floor ADA bathroom sink didn't work, no soap for two days, I haven't been back. Daily maid service seems to actually clean certain things on certain days, little consistency between staff.

Understanding staff. Accommodating staff. Fairly clean.Onsite restaurant and bar though limited in items a terrific addition as I am unable to go out for food and delivery is costly. Brunch buffet is served 7 days a week for a very reasonable price. Daily maid service if desired. Very convenient location. Helpful for persons who are physically disabled. Engineering staff were quite helpful!

Pool / hot tub was closed… only one elevator was in operation… one staff member in particular was not friendly and the rest acted like they were doing you a huge favor if you asked for anything. When I booked through Booking.com we were given a larger room but when we checked in the staff member actually asked us if we “needed” it. Not impressed.

Location was good. There was a Stop&Shop 2 min walk away for groceries.

We were near the elevators and heard everyone coming and leaving. Also, there were loud bangs from upstairs in the middle of the night into the morning. All the noises disturbed my dog and it wasn’t as restful as we would have liked.

I was travelling alone ( over 60!) from Europe for Business in White Plains. The Sheraton chain is one of the oldest Hotel chains in the States and although its Heydays are gone the 'Tarrytown Sheraton' has clearly invested in its quality over the years. It was perfect for me, i had everything i needed. The staff were charming, nothing was too much trouble. I would recommended it further without hesitation.

Kids in hotel should have be watched better throughout the evening. Food could have been more affordable and various foods. Didn't like the fact that breakfast wasn't complimentary.

The Property does need some updating inside and outside . The location was good and very clean.

I was shocked to find out that I would be charged $100 for my pet… I booked through booking.com and could find nowhere that mentioned there being a fee for pets. Also after checking my credit card it looks as though I was charged $150 for my pet.

Friday night was not good. Room 311 was run down. There was a gummy left on the carpet that my dog put in his mouth. The body wash was broken and lying in the tub. The thermostat on the wall did not work. Checked in at 10pm and the rooms across the hall 314 were SO LOUD all night. Loud kids, loud babies, loud TVs, loud in the hall! At 1240 am thru were still noisy and I had to call downstairs. No rest.

The front desk staff was wonderful! I checked in Friday evening and the young woman at the desk was bright, friendly and dressed beautifully. She was there again on Saturday and while I had a bad room experience Friday night, when I returned from my event Saturday afternoon she remembered me and was ready with a new room key and a MUCH better experience! She went above and beyond and saved my weekend. Room 522 was like an entirely different hotel from room 311

Location in relation to Tarrytowm village; wish it was closer but bee bus line and Uber helped

Although there was a Starbucks on location we always enjoy hotels that include breakfast and this hotel does not have free breakfast.

The location was easy to get to. We drove to the Tarrytown train station and took the train to NYC. It was nice to return to a quiet, smaller town for a quiet night to sleep. Cute little town to explore the next day.
