Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaAlso because we were there in the offseason, the water park and gondola were both shut down. But the main issue we had was the television remote, which was absolutely awful! It somehow managed to take a nice LG Smart TV and remove everything that was "smart" about it. It would have been nice to be able to access our Amazon and Netflix accounts.
The lodge and our room were very nice and spacious. Having a kitchenette was great. Because we were there in the offseason, we had the place pretty much to ourselves, it seemed. Food at Noah's Canteen was very good.

United States of AmericaWe were unaware that you could not bring bikes into the rooms. They offer bike storage at certain locations with other guests. Fortunately, we had our lock on our ebike rack and left them attached to our vehicle all night. The other downside is that when you need to charge your ebike the other guest of the hotel disregard your need for the only outlet in the storage area. It would have been nice to know this prior to booking.
Rooms are comfortable on size and have just about every convivence of home.

United States of AmericaThe restaurants had limited hours during the week, and the water park was only open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The Jacuzzis were nice but not hot enough and the jets were not strong enough. Make sure your room is facing the mountains...not the water park building (the staff was very accommodating in switching our initially assigned room).
The rooms were nice, clean, and though they don't have a stove, we could easily use the appliances, plates, bowls, silverware, etc to store and prepare meals. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony looking out at the mountains. I enjoyed the 1 hour I had available for the water park, included with the room. We enjoyed the roof top jacuzzi available in building 1. The location was excellent for biking the Trail of the Coeur D'Alenes, exploring the historic towns around, and accessing the City of Coeur D'Alene. They also provide excellent, secure storage space for bicycles.

United States of AmericaOur hotel room wasn't ready until 4:30. The policy is that your room is guaranteed after 4. Very vague wording, I understand you are short staffed but they weren't even willing to talk to the housekeeping staff to have them clean our room when we got there. If you see that I'm here waiting for my room you could take a moment to let housekeeping staff know to clean it as soon as possible. The lady I had to deal with this on had a bad attitude. It wasn't all bad, most of the staff was very kind and helpful.
Spending time with my family in a fun atmosphere.

United States of AmericaIt's terrible having to walk outside in the wintertime after enjoying the waterpark in freezing temps while you are still wet, therefore some sort of skybridge or enclosed walkway from the lodging to the park would be appreciated. Also Noah's Canteen had some excellent dishes on their menu that my family and I thoroughly enjoyed.
The room kitchenette was well laid out and fully equipped for a weekend stay. However, a cooktop would be a nice addition since the number of restaurants around are very limited. The location next to the water park and right at the base of the Gondola also add to it's convenience.
