The room was not what we reserved,no couch ,table just 1 chair and bed no other sitting area in room. That was not what I reserved, very disappointed in the room and couldn't change because I went thru booking instead of directly through the resort

    Property and staff were awesome

Everything was wonderful...I cant think of a single thing we did not like, we were there to celebrate my birthday. They gave us a free room upgrade and a birthday card with a coupon for a free coffee at the cafe, so nice!!

This place was gorgeous! Think grand style old world hotel set on a hill near a lake in the mountains. Then, add a dash of holiday magic with trees and decorations around every corner (A life-size gingerbread house made of REAL gingerbread? Yes!) and you have Skytop! Beautiful setting, excellent dining, and super friendly staff made our stay just perfect.

The room(307) was extremely small. Never seen a room that tiny before. When you open the door, the bed is right there in direct view of people walking down the hallway, no privacy for when your partner comes in and your laying in bed. You can hear through the walls very easily.

Very scenic, lots of activities! Staff was very engaging and friendly! Plenty of food options and recreation for kids! Pool area and hot tub were awesome! Our waitress Shawna-Kay was super nice at dinner!

Ladybugs in our room, room was a bit small and TV was on the SIDE of the bed, not in front...terrible placement! Hot tub spa was old, but I know you're redoing soon.

The bed and sheets were super comfy and soft!

We liked the peace and quiet that Skytop offered. In addition they offered activities throughout the week. The pool and hot tub waters were nice and refreshing. The food and service at Windsor and Lakeview was professional and well seasoned.

Not enough/any outlets in the room, so we had to unplug the lamps to charge our phones. Wish the property would bring back spa services and some of the rooms are starting to show their wear and smell a bit or have sticky carpeting. Lakeview service was incredibly slow. Food was ok, but overpriced. We've stopped going to the Windsor due to prices (poor value).

Beautiful scenery. The kids love it. Hikes and tours are great. Breakfast and the taproom are great. Love the live music each weekend. Overall an amazing experience for the family.

It has lost much of its appeal over the last decade. They removed their sweet mini golf course in their play area in the basement which was a great part of family enjoyment and instead replaced it with arcade games. I wish they would bring back the mini golf and put the arcade games in the club room instead as a confined arcade room. Still easy to find and in the same proximity but not THE focus for families wanting to spend time together. Arcade games aren’t why families want to visit the Poconos. They chose to remove and not replace a beautiful mural in the pool area on the balcony wall. This old fashioned painting was always so lovely to see and would’ve been understandable if they had to redo it from mold but instead it’s just empty and sad. They’ve removed the billiards table and one of the ping pong tables. Luckily the two remaining aren’t always occupied. The staff is mostly great but over the years, there’s occasionally a few younger employees in the market (ice cream area) that are a little unpleasant/ short and even when it’s not busy in there seem a little annoyed to help. The ski hills look very run down from the road point of view, it looks like they’ve not been tended to in a decade. Maybe they did away with the skiing opportunity in winter but that’s also unfortunate… We used to be able to pick up beanbags outside for corn hole but were told this trip that they don’t leave it out except bring it out when they hold a corn hole activity that day. There used to be a large small human size chess board on the south lawn and that was removed as well

They offer some unique activities such as lawn bowling and the grand march which has always brought much excitement to our family. In the winter, they have indoor ice skating which is also great. They have a long list of activities for weekends, great but it stinks when 2-3 interesting activities are scheduled at the exact same time instead of spread over other hours where nothing is scheduled. Breakfast buffet is wonderful between their omelette station and their house made smoothies and overnight oats. We love the pools, the three options close together of full size, kid’s, and hot tub are great, and the outdoor pool being right outside there is fantastic. They offer tea, lemonade and cookies in the lobby for guests an hour each day, this is very cute. The lobby is enjoyable to spend time in and sit by the fire. The back porch offers nice views and the library bar is interesting and fun. We always look forward to the observation deck. They have a small gym near the pool and decent size locker rooms for pool and gym area. The inn has a pro shop which has a decent selection of items. The inn appears well-kept and very quiet which I believe is why some people choose to stay there- to be away from some business of the main lodge. The Lakeview restaurant at the inn is aesthetically pleasing and there is a small, nice rooftop area to enjoy. Unfortunately their menu rarely appeals to me and last time I tried something it was dry and not enjoyable. For the price, I am not sure it’s worth bothering to chance an entrees again but perhaps the appetizers and drinks will do. The Windsor Dining room has a few good options on the dinner menu. The Tap Room is nice to go and sit in or enjoy takeout but the burgers were burnt and overcooked when I ordered medium rare and there aren’t a lot of options that sound great but a few work. The gift shop downstairs is nice, but wish they had better options for adult and children’s clothing.

Enjoyed the stay at the resort. The associates at the front desk and the concierge are so warm and friendly. The highlights are two trails " Trout Stream Trail to Indian Ladder Falls" and "Woodland Wildlife Safari" guided by naturalist Rick Koval on both Saturday and Sunday. He is so knowledgeable that his accompany made us a lifelong memory of the Skytop visit. Definitely will recommend this resort to our friends.
