We were riding our bikes across the state and booked this hotel because it had decent reviews. We were told after check in that our bikes were not allowed in the room. This restriction or policy was not listed anywhere on their website or Booking.com. While the hosts were nice, they didn't offer any alternatives to just locking our bikes outside. We made due but would have preferred to know ahead of time. Might have picked a different place for lodging. We would never bring dirty bikes into a room. Interesting that pets are allowed (for a fee) but not bicycles (no bite, no bark, no poop or pee 🙂). Again. All was fine in the end. Just would have preferred to know the policy ahead of time. In the future, the managers might want to consider offering options. For example, storage in what looked like a spacious garage/utility building (even for a fee...say $10). Maybe offer a tarp to cover the bikes, making them less obvious. We were told that the property had security cameras but not knowing the area we weren't sure if that would give us any more comfort other than to be able to see any damage or theft after the fact.

Room was a little small but with the lowest price in the area that was to be expected. The only thing that I didn't like was the lack of adequate lighting. The only lights in the room was the two reading lights for the beds. Minor issue but it stood out in my memory..

Walls are paper thin, so we heard all the details of our neighbor's business phone call. Our neighbors weren't loud or obnoxious, so the inconvenience was minimal, but if you're thinking of staying here, don't plan on having any sensitive conversations.

Clean, spacious room. Had a couch. Nice bathtub with jets. Great location for us, because we had just left House on the Rock and planned to visit the dells the next day.

$25 cleaning fee for dog. If they are actually cleaning the rooms properly the only extra step needed would be to vacuum the small couch in case the dog was on it. All bedding should be removed and cleaned after each visitor and the vinyl floors cleaned.

The management is not very friendly. Was charged more than expected. When we requested more towels because 2 bath towels and 2 wash cloths wouldn't work for 3 people he didn't seem very understanding and definitely didn't seem happy to provide the request. It was more expensive than I was expecting and, apparently, $25 per night was added for a third person in the room though that was what I reserved in the first place, 3 people, 2 queens. The motel was very nice for a motel but not a good value at the price we paid, which was higher than advertised. I couldn't get an AARP or AAA discount because I ordered online. It also would be good to have a trash can located in the seating area in front because the trash cans in the room are small. Bill came to $284 for 2 nights. Higher than the reserved price showed at Booking.com which is still showing $85/nt. Beware!

It was a good location. It was nice that the motel sits back quite a bit from the highway. It was quiet. It was clean and comfortable. Had a Kwik Trip near to grab coffee close by instead of using the coffeemaker in the room. Nice area to sit outside in front of the motel.

We had our dogs with us and when the Smoke alarm beeped, early a.m., one of our dogs barked - one little bark. Turned out a person staying next door was disturbed. Not sure how but I know he called the Management to complain. Nothing one can do about the person's attitude but regardless, we are early risers and I'm guessing it wasn't the dog at all but rather our showering and getting ready for the day. So if anything negative, the walls between rooms might be too thin. I'd recommend the Motel.
