The bathroom was kind of dimly lit and along with the toilet, it could use some deeper cleaning. There was some grime that could use some elbow grease and attention. I.e. the window blinds or wooden trims around the toilet. It didn't feel "nasty", but it could be better.

Breakfast was nice and traditionally American, well packaged and fresh. Location was quiet and easy to find. The access to building via a code was nice. Price/quality ratio was great, despite the shared bathroom and toilet. The host was very kind in regards to leaving our luggage at the spot even after check out, because we've had a lot of time to kill before departure and didn't want to walk around with it.

Location excellent, right near public transport and close to Irvine street which has heaps of restaurants and shops. Really helps you feel like a local. Nice and quiet and safe at night. Staff were accommodating as well. Highly recommend for the price.

the bathroom is shared with two other rooms, however I had no issues with this as it seemed to always be available. it's a lil noisy from the road but not enough that u can't sleep. you do need to try to be quiet as the floors creak when getting to the bathroom. I'm not sure if this was on accident but when we typed in the code wrong once it opened the door regardless, I didn't check that the door was fully closed however but it's something to look out for. the place felt very safe so I didn't worry too much.

Really easy to get to from the airport, just take the train to Daly City and then the 28 bus takes u straight there. the beds are very comfy and the facilities are good. I rlly liked having the breakfast before heading out to see the sights. the 28 bus takes you right to the golden gate bridge. I rlly liked having Netflix and Disney + on our TV because we got to watch Inside Out. clean towels and a water station is provided too. also I rlly liked the lighting, you could change the setting to night mode and it had a fan.

Place was dirty. They need to clean the dust and city grime off of all the surfaces and doors/windowsills etc. the floor was dirty under everything we moved out of its place.

The room was very cold as the house is in a more traditional style and the bay widows definitely let in a small draft. Extra blankets for the room or a warning to bring your own would've been nice. Also the parking on site is residential street parking so take that into account!

The staffless check in made coming and going super seamless and the location was amazing for sight seeing in Golden Gate Park. Walkable distance to park and super close to sum rlly good restaurants. The room was very clean and quite large for a 4 person room. Breakfast was on time and quality exceeded our expectations. The walk in closet was appreciated.

I did not "catch" in the description the "shared restroom" aspect. I was traveling with a total of 4 adults in my party. We were very fortunate that we only had to share a restroom with another room for one morning. This would have been challenging if we would have had to do this for a longer period of time. The setup was a room with shower/sink with a separate room for the toilet with hand sanitizer available. I would caution anyone with a larger group to be prepared for a shared restroom experience just so it is not a surprise!

Our host was great and took care of all of our needs. Room was extremely clean and the continental breakfast was perfect. We had access to clean towels daily which I love about staying at hotels. Shower and restroom area were spotless daily.

It was a bit strange to have the toilet room and sink/shower room separated, and I am not used to having to share a bathroom with other guests. If it had been our whole family of four plus another the other room of guests, it may have been tricky.

The bedroom was very spacious for one person! I also loved the location and felt very safe there. It was close to SFSU where my son was doing an overnight program.

Mike was communicative but not obtrusive. He sent detailed, easy to follow directions/instructions before check-in. He was also so kind as to provide breakfast the night before, when we let him know we were leaving early in the morning. The room was comfortable, with a TV, heater and a little kitchenette. Mellow neighborhood (it is not a busy location, though you will likely hear some traffic noise), walking distance to great food options. I hadn't noticed the shared bathroom in the listing, but it was not a big deal even though there were other guests during our stay. Overall a great place and experience, I would stay there again.

The seat pillows are bulky, kind of unnecessary. Not enough tabletop surface to put things. Not enough plugs for electronics. For shower, water pressure is low (though water is hot enough). Space overall is small and cramped.

The beds are firm and comfortable. Pillows are great. Breakfast is provided. The room has a microwave, a fridge, a toaster. Drinking water is provided. The neighborhood is safe, residential, close to Golden Gate Park. Just 10 min walk away there are lots of authentic, reasonably-priced Asian restaurants, as well as other kinds of groceries and shops.
