How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewFirstly, the room was extremely clean and organized. The apartment had absolutely EVERYTHING anyone could ever need in a house, including a fully stocked kitchen with more than enough utensils, pots, and everything in between. They even had games, books, and magazines in the cupboards and drawers around the apartment. The surrounding area is beautiful and has everything, including a market and many restaurants, as well as public transport via shuttle bus stops. The gym and pool are great and there is a game room with many games to enjoy. All around probably a 9.7/10.

Verified reviewI loved the location it was perfect for going to and from multiple towns by shuttle or by car.
My card for the pool didn’t work for one whole weekend and we were there for 2 weeks. The dryer needs to be repaired or something it chooses when it wants to work just old equipment. Say’s furnished with cooking supplies is bare minimum and doesn’t even have a pizza cutter

Verified reviewShuttle stop to the mountain is right out the door and takes only 10 min to get to the village/ski area. Well equipped and great communication. Parking spot is reserved for 1 car (no need to go to parking office if only 1 car)

Verified reviewEasy access to all Aspen Snowmass Mountains from our unit. Local bus picked up right outside and bus to Aspen was just down the road. All accessible from Google Maps! Kitchen was very usable and we cooked most of the week. Grocery store nearby that we used often. Hot Tub was easily accessible via backdoor and path to back entrance of pool Beds/Bedding was comfortable enough TV was of good quality with FireTV to access anything you want Internet was reasonable. Parking was near unit Driveway plowing was great and the road seemed heated which helped! Unit overall was very comfortable and the entry space was great as there were 4 cubbies to store gear. Lots of cleaning supplies for dishwasher and clothes washer.
These are older units and the noise upstairs can be a big negative. I wouldn't say anyone was breaking some sort of noise rules. I would just say that the floors lack much noise insulation so you can hear people just walking around, getting in/out of bed and things like that. The metal stairs outside are also very noisy so if people wake up early to go to the airport you will hear them. This made if difficult for us to sleep a few nights during our visit and use noise machines to assist as much as possible. Community Hot tub was great although it needed to be cleaned more during our stay. Lots of stairs to get in/out of unit as this is a lower floor unit. If you struggle with stairs this is not a unit for you. Real Fireplace is nice although including some Firestarter and newspaper would be beneficial. Maybe including a leather wood sling to help carry in.

No filtered water system available in the kitchen (sink) and had to buy tons of bottled water. Other than that, we loved the condo and all it had to offer.

Not having covered parking and we did find some hair in both bathrooms and some leftover underwear and socks was left in the washer machine.

Verified reviewThe property had lots of open room and was very spacious. Clean and well kept and was in a great location.
The two things I would say weren't the best were the bathrooms needed updated. We had a baby and it was a little difficult bathing her with the older bathtub with the older sliding shower doors put on the side of the bathtub. It was awkward. The other issue we had was the parking for only 1 car for our condo as we had more than 1 car in our group and having no overflow parking nearby for when guests came to our unit.

In regard to the parking, additional vehicles may park in the Snowmass Village Town parking lots located up and down Carriage Way for free except during winter season. Verified reviewSnowmass is a very pretty area, close to Aspen and lots of activities.
We were informed my Aspen Snowmass Vacations one week before our arrival that the condo we had booked was NOT available and they could switch us to another condo. We felt we had no other option. They did not offer us any discount for their mistake and they sent us just a couple of pictures of this condo with no reviews. The condo we stayed in was run down and not very clean - I would not have picked it.

Verified reviewBeautiful view from the balcony. Spaciousness of the condo which offered two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Extremely well equipped kitchen with excellent appliances. Living area cosy and overall, a great place to relax and unwind after a days hiking. The hot tub was wonderful too!
Was very surprised that no coffee or tea was supplied. I have travelled extensively and this is the first time, I have not found coffee or tea in the unit. Only other problem was a large group of noisy people stomping up and down the stairs outside at 2.30 in the morning which woke us up. Thankfully, this only happened on two of the nights.

Verified reviewThe unit itself was beautiful as well as the area and location.
The couch and both chairs in the living room lean forward so you feel like you’re falling off. Definitely worn out and need replaced. Also no communication to let us know we would have maintenance sanding/ staining outside our unit front door at 8 am one day and the next day at 9 am having chiming sweeping people coming into our unit! Definitely both were an inconvenience since we were there for our daughter’s wedding and had make up, hair people and photographers in our unit the one morning getting ready!

Verified reviewThe property was well located close to the Snowmass Gondola ride and ski lifts. The host provided all the essential supplies. The accommodation was comfortable.
Didn't realize the apartment was on the 3rd floor and had a flight of stairs. We had trouble at the check-in because the key box was hard to open.

Verified reviewGreat view, great balcony, great location. Pool, jacuzzi and work out area were all small but were fine for our family and right next door to unit. Easy to get to Snowmass village (10 minute walk to the base village or 1-2 minute drive ) and Aspen was about 15 minute drive by car in July. Free shuttles available. Parking spot for one car. Nice space for family of four, living room and kitchen area were great! Condo unit had everything you could possibly need. All in all for the value it was a great place to stay a few nights.
Stairs, hauling suitcases up those stairs not for the weak of heart, especially coming from sea level. Not something anything can be done about just a warning for those who are cardio averse. If I’m being picky master bath outdated but not a major issue. Lighting in bedrooms are by lamps only, again not a big deal.

A bit Noicy, you can hear neighbours as if they were with you, when they flush the toilet, when they walk in the middle of the night. Apart from that all was great.
