The Bonnie and Clyde room used to be a sunroom. As such, the air conditioner couldn’t keep up during the day and then it became cold overnight.

There isn’t much selection for breakfast. There isn’t anyone on the property if you need something. You have to text. Although it is similar to an Air BnB situation. So not a bad experience just wasn’t expecting there to not be someone there.

Loved that an older home was turned into a hotel like place to stay. The house and room is very nicely decorated and cared for.

Suite was misleading… it was a private bed and bath and shared lobby/kitchen. Toilet paper holder was broken, no tissues. Muffins weren’t labeled and one had nuts.

The lodge was fantastic and the owners/managers were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect and the scenery was beautiful. The place was very comfortable, clean, and much better than a regular hotel setup. The snacks and bottled drinks were a nice addition.

There were great touches, like a sound machine in one of the rooms. The snacks in the kitchen area were perfect for starting the day with my kids. It was lovely to be able to walk along the creek to town. Overall the value was amazing for such a comfortable spacious suite!

Check in and check out. Access is by key code only. Check out says 10.30 to 11am however my key code expired at 10am so was unable to access main house to wash dishes I had used before I left. If I had let my door shut before I removed all my belongings I would not have been able to re enter room. Not good, be aware.

We weren't able to control the heating unit in our room and it's very easy to hear everything in the hallway. A little door sweep and weather stripping would help with that.

The location is excellent, right in town and on the Greenway. Even with the snow we were able to get around, the sidewalks had been cleared well.

My experience staying at the Inn was very nice! The Inn was tastefully decorated and the suite I stayed in was very comfortable. I liked how walkable Luray is, restaurants and cafes are about a 5 or 6 min walk. Downtown is really cute too, there are some neat gift shops and boutiques to look at. My main reason for staying was to visit Shenandoah National Park! It is about a 20 min drive to Skyline Dr. It was beautiful and the fall foliage was still there to see! I enjoyed going at an "off time" as it was less crowded. As for staffing, there is no reception as they stated, but any issue I had (mainly with the wireless locks) were promptly answered and handled after messaging them through Booking. They were so polite too! 10/10

We stayed in The King room and there was an issue with the water in the bathroom. It would go from hot to cold on its own, which made showers interesting. Water to the sink was also inconsistent. I would have mentioned it if we'd stayed more than one night, but it wasn't worth changing rooms for the short time we were there. Also, a bit of a hitch getting into the building initially but that was quickly resolved with a text. And, as others have said, the breakfast bar was lacking. There were bagels past the BB date, tho still edible, but no butter or cream cheese or jelly to put on them. Did find a couple honey packets, which were okay. If I remember correctly, there was no regular creamer or half and half for coffee, but a couple flavored varieties. There was a nice selection of coffee pods and tea. One banana and some apples. A couple boxes of kiddy-type cold cereal. Any way, you get the idea. Interior of the building was nicely done but sides and back exterior are really rough. (A work in progress?) Nothing against the property but the Asian restaurant in town was not worth the time or money.

Interesting place with various themed rooms. Clean, quiet, and accommodating. Nice property with a greenway running along the water. And the Fitzgerald suite with games is a nice touch.

Grass needed cut when we arrived, they cut the front while we were there but not the back where there were lawn chairs . Bicycles had a flat they were aware but did not fix it. Breakfast rolls were not available every morning

Only negative thing I can think of is the steps to the second floor need carpet on them dampen the noise when people are coming in at a later hour of the evening.

We loved staying in this hotel, but personally had a problem with the bed. Somehow, it couldn't hold two people and was falling apart. However, the helpful and kind hotel team upgraded us, and we moved to a better room.

Excellent facilities, nice location, access to the living room with the boarding games, and bicycles are available for guests.
