Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

we ended up having to stay an extra night due to flight cancellation. The front desk staff for the most part was helpful but one person was very dismissive when we asked about laundry services. Not very helpful basically you're on your own. type of customer service not very good. This was just one employee, though the others were amazing.
there is nothing really not to like it was sufficient. It was clean met all my checkmarks well most of it.

Our rooms curtains didn’t close all the way, the track stopped over the register vent so only a sheer curtain went all the way across and all the city lights lit up our room at night.

Found random hairs from a beard or something in my bed. Also no extra blankets in the room. Carpets also need to be cleaned

Room was just... weird. Hardly any natural light and also not enough actual lights. No lamps or anything. Only the king bed and an office chair to sit in, no other reading/sitting chair options, though there was space for it. Tub was not clean.
Bed was very comfy. Room was spacious. Appreciated being able to walk to the Convention Center without going outside since it was cold. Really great hotel gym. Short walk to restaurants and the arena.

They were supposed to provide free bottled water but didn't. Be sure to ask. The window overlooked a parking garage.
The room was bigger than usual. There was a corridor connecting the hotel to the convention center, other hotels etc. North Market is an 8 minute walk or less, along with bars and restaurants.

The heater was extremely loud. I did tell the duty manager and response was “Sorry about that.” Therefore, the room’s heating needs to be upgraded.

Our bathroom shower did not drain and the sink didn't work either. Had to move to another room. Same issue with the new room. We got a free breakfast out of it, no other discount.

It was very inconvenient coming from the skywalk that you couldn’t use the elevator to get to check-in or get in through the doors without having to go through steps. It’s very irritating to have to carry luggage up and down steps.
It was a very nice and easy to find your way around.

The beds were pretty hard for my liking.
The walk way to the convention center was amazing. With 5 inches on snow on the ground it was a Great location and didn't have to leave the parking garage. Everything was within walking distance.

Older hotel. The room decor is updated but since the hotel is older, the room felt old and small, so it felt a bit cramped.
Location is great. If you are going to an event at the Columbus Convention Center, there is a tunnel over the road so you don't need to go outside. That said, the tunnel is not heated so it's very cold during the winter months.

You paid $15 to park everytime you returned to parking deck, hotel did not validate parking or compensate. It was never mentioned in website. Vine & Forge Restaurant within Hotel: Server ignored us for 45 mins despite watching her courtseously check all surrounding tables, and trying to politely get her attention before we just got up and left. Trash in halls and elevator None of our trashcans had trash bags liners 🤷♀️
