The towels are rough, not soft. The comforter is so thin it’s like just having a sheet and it was cold. There was very little water pressure in the shower. The art bar was entirely disappointing and out of most food both days. It’s not really an option for breakfast.

It’s a good location and the rooms are large and have good furniture. Also it’s nice they give you bottles of water.

Check out was at 11:00 and cleaning lady knocking on my door hard at 10:00 rushing me out. I was very upset. The guest next door was extremely loud.

Loved the location’s proximity to Rittenhouse Square and to excellent restaurants. Loved the fitness center. The property could be cleaner - the general property- not the room, which was fine, and staff more welcoming.

The room was clean in general, but when I reached for the sockets on the floor between the bed and the table next to it, there were tangled cables, and everything was under a thick layer of dust - that was a bit unpleasant. The bathroom was clean, but the shower drain didn't work well; at the end of the shower, I would always stand in a puddle of water. I visited the gym twice, and some of the machines were not working. The lady who helped me when checking in was not particularly welcoming and also not well-informed about facilities.

The Sonesta Philadelphia Rittenhouse Square is a comfortable and conveniently located hotel; ideal for exploring the historic parts of Philadelphia, the museums, and the gay neighborhood. The room was spacious and the bed was very good.

All the hidden fees. Guests should not have to pay for use of the pool. Destination fee, there were several others.

The thermostat in our room was non-functional for temperature. It was controlled from somewhere, just not by us.

The location was perfect. Just a couple blocks from Rittenhouse Square and centrally located to our daughter's apartment and all the places we visited. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the shower pressure was excellent. The room was not overly spacious but more than adequate. The housekeeping staff was very friendly. Quick and smooth check in and out process. The room was quiet at night.

The elevators were a little overwhelmed at peak times meaning we had to wait a long time to get up or down

The bathroom is...questionable. There's no vent in the shower and it just seems... Gross. It wasn't dirty but it just seems like an afterthought. I'm not expecting five star luxury, but it wasn't any better than a cheap motel.

The beds are very comfortable. My husband and I both have back issues and slept very well. The sheets are soft and breathable. The room was small but we were only there to sleep so it didn't matter. I like the mini fridge. It was nice to be able to store cold drinks.
